Robert Glover, Jr. is Garland County’s newest convicted murderer. On the heels of co-defendant Ethan Sallee’s jury conviction last week where he was found guilty of 1st Degree Murder and sentenced to 30 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction, Glover accepted a 1st Degree Murder plea deal offered by Garland County Deputy Prosecutor Joe Graham. At approximately 8:45 this morning, The Honorable Judge John Homer Wright accepted Glover’s plea of guilty in Circuit Court and sentenced him to 25 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction.

Chestely Gaston is accused of going into Roberson's home in July 2013 with two other men, strangling him, and dumping his body into a wooded area.

The last of three people charged in the 2013 stabbing death of a 71-year-old Jessieville man was sentenced to 40 years in prison Monday after pleading guilty in Garland County Circuit Court.

Chestly Wayne Gaston Jr., who turns 23 next week, was set to stand trial beginning today on a charge of first-degree murder for the July 9, 2013, death of Dan Roberson, and could have faced 10 to 40 years or life in prison.
