Exactly! Ha! But since Duck doesn't look pointy sharp, i thought it could be possible. And if he had said party host, i actually could envision a scenario for that!

This article has been updated (according to its date); may not be new to us, though. Much wrangling and confusion having to do with cell phone records of Duck.

Not entirely from above link -- It appears that Duck was a very busy guy on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011.
Partial Timeline cobbled together from info contained in affidavit of probable cause (insert link).

5:30 a.m. - 5:40 a.m. - cul-de-sac neighbor sees Natzke's vehicle in her carport with dome light on.
5:45 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. - timeframe that son estimates he awoke; saw Mom's (Natzke) vehicle in carport with dome light on. Went back to sleep until 10 a.m., when he awoke and saw car gone.
5:50 a.m. Natzke's vehicle gone from the carport, according to cul-de-sac neighbor.
8:30 a.m. Duck calls employer to report late arrival on account of searching for Natzke.
9:37 a.m. Mysterious text received by Natzke's friend; suspected not to have been written by Natzke.
10:10 a.m. Duck arrives work. [My question: How did he get to work? Natzke's light green Ford station wagon had been torched by that time -- so he couldn't have been driving her vehicle.]

To be continued . . . must get on horse to head to work now. Maybe some kind Sleuth will add to this.
