I’m still confused as to why anyone would have a POA over her finances. Strange.

JMO it may have to do with divorce. I’m not sure, but this article gives me the idea that LCS wanted to make sure nothing was sold, bought, transferred by her husband (soon to be ex).

On Becky O'Donnell's Facebook page which is linked here, some of her supporters are commenting that the Clinton's did it not Becky O'Donnell, so it may not necessarily be pertinent to the case but is not something that was made up by websleuths members.

Maybe. The investigation is ongoing, so perhaps another arrest is possible. The suspect's BF handled a good deal of money for the victim and had power of attorney. Not drawing any conclusions here, but the case should be interesting to watch.

Yeah i’m Leaning towards she did not act alone. She was wearing a bullet proof vest. Wondering now if she was paid by someone and files are sealed to protect her.

This updated article on the case today highlights Tim Loggains role as power of attorney for Senator Linda Collins...and how he handled Linda and her ex-husband's money during their recent divorce. Hard to think that this murder was just about money, since Becky O'donnell appears more involved with assisting Linda with her political ambitions--and providing friendship. Wealthy people get much bigger tax breaks than most average Americans realize. Many businesses (and the people who own them) actually get tax refunds that exceed what they owed or paid in taxes. It's kind of like welfare for rich people.

I wonder if Collins Smith and her husband had money stashed in illegal offshore accounts? Perhaps they were being blackmailed by the killer and she threatened to go to police?

I haven’t been on Websleuth in a while so I’m a little rusty. I know LE has to have good cause to arrest BO, but I’m not convinced she’s the killer. Every single person that personally knows her says she’s not capable. They say she took such good care of Linda.

I’m still baffled about her body being so badly decomposed. I read that she stopped posting on FB at the end of the month. But I haven’t read anything about the last person that had contact with her, which makes me question BO and her bf. If they were so close, you would think they would talk every day or every other day. Then I wonder if she had been killed earlier than the last post to her FB page and someone had her credentials and was posting for her to throw off the timeline.

Replying to myself to add not that it matters. We have heard this before when people murder their own children, parents, and spouses. No one wants to believe their loved one or someone they r close to r capable of murder. Let’s not forget she was wrapped in a blanket which means it was likely someone close to her some random killer isn’t going take the time or care enough to cover her in such a way.
