MANSFIELD, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in western Arkansas are looking for a search-and-rescue truck stolen from the Northwest Scott County Volunteer Fire Department over the weekend.
...

Fire Chief Donnie Adkins says the truck was last seen driving through Witcherville north toward Fort Smith early Saturday morning. It has a lime green stripe on the side and the department's logo, an alien holding a fire hose, on the hood.

The truck only had about 85 miles to go before it needed fuel,

Mansfield is in the area...

Wonder who the ambulance was for then?

During searches like this people often get injured/dehydrated.
Not that I believe they didn't find them, just saying it's possible it's a searcher.

KNWA reported during their newscast that the area has been cleared and media moved out of the area. Nothing else new except activity has picked up in the area the last two hours.
