Wow, I didn't expect that the prosecution would seek the death penalty against Cathy Torres. Both of them definitely deserve it though, for what they did to little Isaiah 

The jury trial for Mauricio Torres, 46, has been rescheduled for May 6, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. His trial date was originally scheduled on January 12, 2016.
Cathy Torres, 44, will have her pre-trial hearing on June 14, 2016 at 8:30 a.m., and her jury trial has been moved to August 22, 2016 at 1 p.m. She had been scheduled to appear before jury on January 26, 2016.

Prosecutors want to try Mauricio Torres first. His trial was set to begin May 6 but was pushed back Friday. Jeff Rosenweig, one of Mauricio Torres' attorneys, requested the delay. Maurice Isaiah Torres, 6, was pronounced dead at an area hospital March 29. A medical examiner later determined the boy suffered from chronic child abuse, and his death was from internal injuries caused by rape.
Cathy Torres' trial was set for Aug. 22, and Rosenweig requested that date for her husband's trial.

In a court hearing today, a series of motions from the defense were denied; one being a motion asking the state to declare Mauricio Torres the main offender or the accomplice in six-year-old Isaiah Torres' murder.
