"Update: Adding photo of suspect. A domestic disturbance occurred on Whitehouse Road in the Brentwood community of Washington County. The biological father, Danny Trent Barrows (white male age 38), was involved in a physical disturbance with the child's mother. The suspect stabbed the mother in the leg and severely battered her with his fists. The suspect threatened to kill the mother and child with the knife. He threatened the child by holding the knife to the child's body. The suspect then left the victim on the side of the road and drove off with the infant in the car. The vehicle is a 2005 Dodge Stratus, brown in color possibly with an Arkansas disabled tag."

"Washington County authorities are searching for Danny Trent Barrows, 38. Barrows has a 2-month-old baby with him in his vehicle, according to authorities.

Barrows is described as 5'11" tall, 171 pounds and as having brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen driving a silver or tan Dodge Stratus ARVL/300005, headed toward Interstate 49 from the Winslow area.

The baby was last seen wearing a white onesie with blue and purple flowers."

"Springdale police arrested a man after a three and a half hour standoff on County Line Road. Danny Trent Barrows barricaded himself inside his girlfriend's home around noon Sunday (Nov. 17), police said...
"When he finally decided to give himself up peacefully, no one was injured, there were no weapons involved on his behalf," Hudson said. "He came out and has been arrested."
However, police had been after Barrows since Thursday (Nov. 14) when his girlfriend Jamie Pratt accused him of holding a knife to her throat."

The Washington County Sheriff's Office said on Twitter Wednesday that they had apprehended 38-year-old Danny Trent Barrows.

Officials say Barrows stabbed the child's mother in the leg and struck her with his fists Monday night, then took the 2-month-old baby and fled the town of Winslow in a sedan. Later, police said Barrows was last seen driving a pickup truck near Mountainburg.
