One neighbor, Julie Pickard, said Tuesday that Holly wept the day Jersey's body was found.

"He was crying for a long time," said Pickard, who lives on the other side of the home where Jersey's body was found.

Later that day, Pickard said, police knocked on her door and told her to let them know if she saw a man wearing Mountain Dew pajama pants.

"(Holly) was wearing Mountain Dew pajama pants," Pickard said.

My question is, how did LE know they were looking for a man wearing mountain dew "pajamas"?

Can't wait to read the charging docs to see how they broke this case so fast.

That struck me as odd since there are multiple pictures of Holly in those PJ's standing outside the crime scene (yellow tape) while LE was searching.

Did she mean did she see him before the crime?

ETA: By searching I meant for evidence.

I know a little about how things work inside Benton County. ZH would be in segregation, not in general population. I dont think NH is supposed to have any contact with any other inmates, let alone be left alone with even a trusty. It looks to me like the trusty might have been left alone with ZH on purpose. Just my opinion.
Oh well, not losing any sleep over this. ZH better get use to this kind of thing.

What? You mean Country Girl's and borndem's posts? Are you sure? Am I all confused? :waitasec:

STEADFAST - What?? Now I am all confused... (which is not unusual!:confused: ). When I said that DesaRae may have been suspicious, I meant suspicious of ZH in relation to Jersey's death -- she may have referred to him in her discussions with LE -- I did not mean that LE was suspicious of DesaRae in any way.

Or does this refer to something in FB -- I do not use FB, so maybe I missed something. :waitasec:

Sorry to be a nag, but I am confused -:waitasec: - did something I say get misunderstood or misinterpreted? Tia.

I'm sure he was crying...because he knew he would go to prison. I doubt that he would be crying for any other reason. He is the lowest of the low on the human chain. :(

About the Mountain Dew pants...I saw the video of him and his wife walking toward the house during the time that they found Jersey. He stood out SO MUCH with the way he was walking, so slowly, and appeared to be just stiff. He was only seen from the back in the video, but perhaps he stood out to LE too as they watched the crowd to see who showed up. Maybe they were inquiring to other neighbors who this person was. He was pretty obvious looking to me just in viewing him on camera.

This article explains it. He was in a cell with a LEO and a trustee. The LEO turned his back to do something and the trustee attacked him right there.

I can't explain posts from yesterday, can barely remember it! :blushing: I couldn't understand what someone was referring to, as I recall. I think someone posted without quoting what they were referring to, and I couldn't understand the correction, not knowing who they were posting about.

Hey, that gave me an idea. Maybe he was wearing that strange get up because his other clothes were not available -- in the wash or thrown out.

After watching this case closely and I hate to say that I feel that everyone who was connected to this child isnt "Quite right".

Also I dont think I can adopt the theory that kids arent safe anywhere. I live in Benton county, and I still feel safe with my kids being or even playing outside in about 95% of benton county. I think what people can learn from this case is that when you become a parent, you need to pick who you associate with with much higher standards.

Im sure I will be attacked for this, but I will express my opinion anyway.....I feel a lot of the blame for this has to fall on the mother. It is of my opinion that this little Angels horror filled short life and tragic end has a root cause in her mothers stupidity of who she chose to associate with.

Totally agree with everything you said. I live in Benton Co as well. Feel 99% safe, but I'm still aware of my surroundings.

Hey, that gave me an idea. Maybe he was wearing that strange get up because his other clothes were not available -- in the wash or thrown out.

I saw a young woman at the mall today--at noon--in slippers and pajama pants... then again, I'm in Georgia, so.... :floorlaugh:

I briefly wondered if, since it's been unclear WHO called LE when Jersey was found to be missing, if Mom was gone, next door neighbors were to be 'checking in', and unbeknowst to Mrs. H, Mr. H bebopped over in the wee hours and took Jersey to the abandoned house. And if Jeresy's sibling (does she have a sibling?) appeared to be sleeping when he snuck in, but actually SAW a man with Mt. Dew pants....

I also wondered if they (The H's) were babysitting Jersey at their OWN house, Mr. H snuck her out and to the abandoned house, Jersey's mom came to get her at 6:45 a.m. and raised the alarm. The Holly's house was one of the three the LE immediately searched, right?

But that's a whole lot of conjecture and I don't know if Jersey had a sibling in the home. :waitasec:

Jersey had a little sister in the home. Toddler age, but I'm not sure exactly how old. Old enough to talk, I bet. But maybe not old enough to be understood.
