Friend of Zach Holly, who has been friends with him for "several years" says Holly has learning disabilities, doesn't comprehend things well

Apparently, they are waiting for ZH to come in to the courtroom.

Surely, nobody is stupid enough to commit murder 1.) wearing something as noticeable as Mt. Dew pajama pants and 2.) keep wearing these same pants amidst such a flurry of police activity. *Really?*

Same friend of Zach Holly recalls Holly saying, "I hope I don't get the death penalty" a couple days after Jersey was found dead.

He seemed to comprehend things well enough to upkeep a Facebook. I (think) I have a normal intelligence level at least and Facebook almost drove me crazy when I first started and now every time they change it.

I didn't think it sounded bad at all, but what do I know?

We must not have read the same post. jmo

I had similar experiences as a young girl growing up with certain males both adult and minors. I ran the neighborhood, unsupervised from dawn to dusk, as did all my friends. I say unsupervised but not totally, in my neighborhood, all the neighbor moms watched out for all the neighborhood children. If we got up to mischief, we KNEW somebodies mom was calling our mom, pronto. By the time we showed up at dinnertime, the whole neighborhood of moms would know what had happened, who was involved and what was being done about it.

I considered it a good childhood, certainly no worse than any of my friends.

Sure there was the flasher guy who I ran into more than once. Sure there was the teen boy who chased me home from school 3 times when I was 10, twice threatening to beat me up and once threatening to rape me.

But the mom's all had a way of working together to keep us all relatively safe and happy in our community.

Now, back on topic. have the charging docs been released yet? Has the hearing happened?

I agree norest. He seemed to comprehend that killing a child was wrong well enough to attempt to conceal her in the vacant home.

He may well not be the sharpest knife in the block but he knows right from wrong. Good enough for me.

Not yet on both accounts.

Holly has not been brought to the courtroom at last report.

Judge is there. Prosecutor is there. Jersey's mom is there.

ZH still not in court. They did mention there's lot's of security. Maybe he is going to save everyone the trouble of a trial and plead guilty.

I dont think he will make any plea today. Today is just a bond hearing. The judge will simply look at some of the evidence and decide "No bond"

What are Mt. Dew pajama pants? Is that a brand? tia

They are just pajama pants with the Mountain Dew (the soda) logo printed all over them.. Not something I'd be caught dead strolling around the neighborhood in, especially if I was trying to look inconspicuous. :waitasec:

Being a sugar- and caffeine-laced soft drink, Moutain Dew as a pajama sleepwear item is rather ironic.
