The Hot Spring County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing man.

60-year-old John Boutilier has been missing since early last week.

According to a report from the Hot Spring County Sheriff's Office Boutilier was last seen in his driveway on the morning of January 2nd.

Boutilier’s wife reports that none of his debit cards have been used.

He has heart issues and has not had his medicine since New Year’s Day, and left his cellphone at home.

Boutilier was driving a 2005 gray Chevy Trailblazer with a license plate that reads 208 VWG.

That says he dropped his friend off but then it says the friend reported seeing him in his driveway the next day. Hmm.... That's odd.

I can't seem to find where John supposedly dropped the friend off to map it, but an unidentified body has been found in Hot Springs: http://www.hotsr.com/news/2018/jan/17/body-found-vacant-lot/?breaking

"The crime lab determined Boutilier died in a car accident."

Was he still in his vehicle/was it nearby?

Seems like incomplete reporting, doesn't it? No mention of the car...

Jon Boutilier, 61, of Bismarck suffered fatal injuries as a result of a Jan. 2 crash on Arkansas 7 near Blue Bird Lane in Hot Spring County, according to a preliminary crash report from Arkansas State Police. Boutilier's 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer left the road on its right side, state police said. He was reported missing Jan. 3, the Hot Spring County sheriff's office said.

The Sentinel Record of Hot Springs reported that Martin Wells, who lived nearby, said he was checking the water level around noon when he saw what he thought was a dead animal. He said he realized it was a human as he moved closer. Wells got his neighbor, Allen Denton, who called 911. Denton said the body was hung on a tree in the middle of the creek.

I'm thinking he was either ejected from the vehicle or maybe stumbled out disoriented?

Crash location: (Creek running past is the same as he was found in)
