View attachment 258967

A Newton County resident has been reported missing. Newton County Sheriff Glenn Wheeler is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 20-year-old Jonathan Barrett Brantley of Mount Judea.

Ok tons of questions. 1st Does he have a social media account? Last seen Thursday but at what location was he seen? How far is his house and what Road does his house located? I can do mapping but I a general starting point. The individual he works for general location of the company. I am going to start looking for social media accounts, the area of his travel plans from point A to B would be very important for what i do.

I agree what information that’s given is vague. I lost count of the number of people who asked some of the very same questions as you under LE’s post...none of them answered however. :(

It stated he was supposed to travel to Pangburn AR on Fri but never made it. I’m not sure the reason for the visit. Pangburn is small also; population around 600.

The trip from Mt Judea to Pangburn is 120 miles/2.5 hr drive. It gave me two alternate routes as well.

*****UPDATE TO MISSING PERSON*****
Attached are photos of the truck Jonathan Barrett Brantley drives. Again, this truck will have temporary tags.

Barrett Brantley was last seen in the Mt. Judea area Thursday evening. He was going to another residence near Mt. Judea where he did work for the owner. His direction of travel once he left there is uknown. His phone was found at the residence where he had been working.

Many people are asking to help with the search, but at this point there is nowhere in particular to send search parties. If that changes, we will call for volunteers.

Deputies and volunteers have been searching roads and highways in the area he was known to frequent and where he may have been headed. Deputies, Game Wardens and other officials have also checked areas he was known to have knowledge of. Brantley and his truck have been listed as missing and all law enforcement agencies in Arkansas have been given initial and updated information as it becomes available.

Investigators are following numerous leads and conducting interviews in hopes that someone will have some information that may help.

If you have information that may be helpful or you think you may know his whereabouts, please contact the Newton County Sheriff's Office at (870) 446-5124, option 1.

Left his phone at a home he was working at? Hmmn, that's weird.

So does this mean he was last seen at the other residence where he did work for the owner OR last seen in the Mt Judea area as he left to go to that residence?

My understanding is he was going to go camping with friends, but I’m not positive.

He goes by his middle name, Barrett.

His family included an update under NCSO’s most recent post on Barrett. It’s really awesome to see the confidence & respect one has for LE in finding their loved one.
