Authorities say 8-month-old Lauren Stokes was in the court-ordered custody of her paternal grandmother when she was taken.

Shortly after 11:00 p.m. Saturday, the grandmother was picking kids up from her (the grandmother's) mother's home when Lauren's biological mother, Antionette Durham, came and grabbed Lauren out of the vehicle. Durham then ran to a black passenger car and fled the scene headed north on Cypress Street.

Durham has received court orders to have no contact with Lauren.

This is the city I work in but I don't know these people. Obviously, mom has issues or grandmother wouldn't have custody. This is all too common here.

Okay, the grandmother is 31 yrs old. The biological mother is 15 yrs old. Wow! It should not be hard to track down this 15yr old with a 8 mos old baby after too long. Just hoping the baby is safe. The courts do not say the bio-mom can have absolutely no contact without just cause for the order.
