They scented him to the spring rd. I read that the scent went west , then it went east to spring rd where they could not find another scent.

That is the most recent scent . I know they said that he has played in that area before so ,it is possible it is an older scent. Either way ,I think the scent trail is important .

I wondered if they scented his sister scent as well to see if the dog picked her up at the same location. If not they should have scented the other two people in the house.

Any direction little Malik Drummond may have gone off by himself, in all four directions from his house, there are numerous business that would have security cameras. If there is any reason to believe he may have been taken as some are starting to believe, the timing is pretty precise as to when it that may have happened as well. I hope they're taking a look at the security cam footage from those businesses for any leads.

The reporter said the dogs from Memphis tracked his scent east, then west and then down to Spring Street but then stopped; they think because that location is where Malik has played so they think the scent could be old.

How did he get out the front door??

Here ya go. I had it backwards.

Yeah.. You got it before me. I need some sleep. I feel bad sleeping when he may be out there cold. [emoji22]

One other thing before I go to bed. I never noticed the mom shed a tear. I would be a basket case I think. But after what I just posted about my sons improper affect... I'm not saying that doesn't mean she's not upset... It just doesn't appear to be a typical mom reaction. IMO

He was last seen at 5:45 PM correct?

Would a two year old bolt out the door when it was dark? Civil twilight ended at 17:23 (5:23 PM).

I suppose he could be a brave little guy, and wanted to go to the park.

IMO, it's looking like someone took him off the street, or he left the house earlier that day. Just not alone : (

Anyone with a toddler please think about this.

You open the front door and your 2 year old walks outside. 45 minutes pass. Realistically, how far would your child go? Just play in the backyard? Run down the street?

I know every child is different but I just can't grasp that a 2 year old, in 45 min, went so far that now hundreds of searchers and LE cannot find him..

:( ...

Totally O/T, Steelman, are there 2 of you? Another Steleman is posting on another case... i am so confused.

I only post under this nickname with this spelling. I don't know anything about the other guy (or gal) with a similar spelling. It is definitely two different people.

The apartment complex they live in is centered on the map, marked with a red square.

Or, that dogs could not pick up his scent and track him~

the fact that the dogs could not find a recent scent to track him is a huge red flag to me, too...
