It seems like a lot of valuable time was lost before this woman was finally declared missing. I wonder if she has a history of leaving and not contacting her family.
A key comment from the article that could explain some of the inaction:
Johnson (her mother) said Michelle was “mentally slow”, but it never prevented her from being socially accepted, she was dependent on others.
The police should understand, if they are aware, she is in need of greater protection.

Why do they wait so long to do searches? The same with Cassie Comptons case.
I am starting to feel like people run away in droves in Stuttgart so LE doesnt feel the need to look or people disappear in droves in Stuttgart and LE doesnt feel the need to look.
Do you think the residents are wondering yet about something possibly going on in their town?
Maybe if we dangle plates of donuts... okay, for real. The difference with Cassie's case is the FBI came in. Yet, still no searches. HmmmmIs it common practice in Stuttgart to do one or two searches at best and that's the end of the effort? No up to date news coverage and no statements from le.
Almost if not exactly like cassie comptons case.
Latest update. Family demands more help.

The news article says 3 missing people, does anyone know who that may be? I haven't found that information yet.Good for them! I'm glad that are getting loud and making noise. Sweeping yet another missing person under the rug is not helping. These people need to be found. Where is Michelle? Where is Cassie? What IS LE doing to find them?
