nan, you have to check out the smoking gun link and see his progress losing weight. The guy looks a million times better and has to feel better other than his little grumbley old tummy.
I checked out his before and after photos. Yep, definitely is beginning to look healthier. He has too much free time on his hands. That got him into trouble in the first place.

He still looks like a fat blob to me.

Paladin,
 Don't be shy.

What gets me is that this guy is eating 3,000 a day and still dropping a massive amount of weight. Can you imagine how much he must have been eating to maintain and gain weight. It was a full-time job. I wish that I could eat 3,000 calories a day and drop massive amounts of weight...Oh, some inmates have all the luck... :o

A friend of mine was in county jail for 6 months and she gained 30 pounds but when she was moved to the prison she lost all of it and then some. Most prisons have really bad food so inmates just don't eat it and try to eat what they get in the store. What I mean by bad food is, smelling really rotten, roaches crawling on it, and a red substance that resembles blood on the trays. My friend complained about those 30 pounds that probably brought her up to a size 8, I am sure now she is at her regular size 2/3. I sure wish I was an 8!!!

Would make for a good way to lose weight...the way gas prices are I may have to stop buying food like I normally do...maybe that will help!

Well Martha Stewart sure looked fabulous after she was released.

At least he will be easier to carry out of the place if the death penalty is ever enforced.

He is a whining crybaby who showed no mercy on the man he killed. 3000 calories a day, for him, at taxpayers expense, is GENEROUS! Someone needs to show this killer with no soul, what hunger is all about.

ttrach, maybe the 3000 calorie guy ate it :behindbar He's probably sitting up there in jail right now on his compaq or dell. Why not, they get everything else. Yeah, he's on the computer ordering up his menu for next week. Don't worry, it'll be coming out of your pay. Think he cares? No, as long as he gets his belly full-er. If I worked there, I would make sure all of his food was plain and bland. He probably has nightmares about triple, greasy drippying cheeseburgers with the works, cheesesteaks with extra meat and cheese, dripping with extra grease, chips galore, soda, cake, candy, cookies, the works. He's addicted to food is his problem. Those guards and other inmates better be careful, he might mistake them for a big piece of meat. . .:waitasec:

The red substance that resembles blood on the plate might be what they call meat. It's not just country jail, but prison that is like that. I have lots of pen pals report identical meals, so it isn't made up.

About the families sending money for canteen - yes, they can do that for food, soap and deoderant. The problem is that many people in prison have no families and when they write to pen pals and request money, people call it a "scam." I'm telling you, I'd write anyone for money if I had to eat refried blood instead of tuna, too. (Of course, I'd be the innocent one in there...) :-)

This was my thought, too. Imagine how much food this guy was putting away on a daily basis in order to maintain his rotund figure. How he had time to commit a felony is beyond me.

Probably had to commit several felonies a day to pay for his food habit.
