Found Deceased AR - Riley Beneux, 26, went to the gym, truck found at Spring Hill Park, Barling, Sebastian Co., 16 Jan 2023

SEARCH UNDERWAY near the Arkansas River at Spring Hill Park in Barling for Riley Beneux.

Riley is 26 years of age, approximately 6’0 tall 165 pounds.

Riley told his family he was going to the gym yesterday around 1:30pm and hasn’t been heard from since.

His truck was located at SPRING HILL PARK in Barling.

He was last seen wearing dark khakis with a orange windbreaker with a blue beanie and hiking boots.

Right now we have an active search taking place in the Spring Hill Park area along the Arkansas River. A helicopter is in use in this search and Sebastian County Emergency Management is on scene.

Looking at info about Springhill Park I noticed there is a 7.7 mile loop trail there. Since the article above mentions he had on hiking boots I wonder if he headed out there to hike:

Body found in search for missing 26-year-old Sebastian County man

On Wednesday evening, it was confirmed that the body of a white male was found while searching for Beneux. The body has been sent to the state crime lab to confirm identification and manner of death.
The Barling Police Department has suspended the search.
