Found Safe AR - Samantha Jo Pinner, 30, dropped off kids at school, Beebe, White County, 19 Aug 2019

So happy to say it's HappyDanceTime...

She has to get on the same page as her family now though, if she does have a bitter ex that is a danger. She has to keep in touch and answer calls, even if just a quick, 'I'm fine Mom, cya later.'

I trained my daughter when she went off to college---if she didn't want to see her face on a 'Missing Person Alert' ---she needed to keep in touch...and answer her calls in a timely fashion...lol

She had an emoji text she would use if she was busy, but she'd answer as soon as she could, so my mind wouldn't go into panic mode...

As I've read more posts from family and friends this morning it does appear that Samantha Pinner did live in Searcy.

The only question that still baffles me is why the Searcy Police Dept. is investigating unless they know she went missing from Searcy? Does this indicate someone saw her "back in" Searcy after she dropped her kids off in Beebe? Did someone see something? Was evidence found at her home? In some of the news stories it indicates that family had called police to an address on W. Race to report her missing. I had originally thought maybe this was just the residence of someone in her family, but I now believe this is probably where she was living.

Just to make a comparison and further explain why I'm still confused about Searcy PD as opposed to the Beebe PD taking the report and leading the investigation....

There has been a Searcy man missing for about 6 weeks now. He worked in Beebe and it's presumed he went missing from Beebe, and therefore the Beebe PD is leading the investigation into his disappearance. (JUST TO CLARIFY: I have no reason to believe these cases are related. Just making a comparison)
I don’t know why it was Searcy PD but here are a couple of guesses:

Sometimes if a person is missing they have to be reported as missing where their residence is. I’ve seen it in other cases. In this case, Beebe was the place she was last seen but it’s reasonable to assume she was en route back to her residence or perhaps a job in Searcy and when she wasn’t where she was supposed to be, it was reported to Searcy PD.

Second option is that someone saw something specific in Searcy and notified Searcy police.

There’s obviously more to this story, but it seems that many people around her are watching out for her, so hopefully that will prevent something bad from happening.

It could be as simple as the family called the Searcy PD because that's where they live or where they were (if they went to check her house before calling) and Searcy PD just took a report because they were contacted. Sometimes when it isn't obvious which department should take a report (lived in Searcy, last seen in Beebe) they play hot potato with it. Sometimes the first one called just takes the report. It may also be that the Searcy PD is aware of concerning history so took the report to get the situation moving quickly.
