BONANZA, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is investigating the deaths of three people, including a woman and two children, at a residence in Bonanza.

On Dec. 3, around 9:30 a.m., SCSO says their dispatch received a welfare check call for occupants of a home in the 1100 block of 1st Avenue. The call was sent to Bonanza police, as the address is in city limits, with SCSO deputies assisting, according to a release.

Officers initially received no response at the home. With help from two workers on site, they entered and found three people dead, all showing apparent gunshot wounds.

The woman was identified as 40-year-old Charity Beallis. The identities of the children have not been released.

John, Powell's 24-year-old son, said the family hasn't heard from law enforcement yet but they're hoping to learn more about what happened.

"She had me when she was 16, and I've got good memories over you know, even them babies. I held them the first day they was born, and would watch them and take care of them," John recalled. "It's just rough to hear what happened to them."

This is an interesting case, with many layers. The son interviewed and named above, filed in civil court to be emancipated and reimbursed for damage to his truck tires. This was back in 2020, see attached for details of what happened.

In March of this year, Charity filed for divorce, siting numerous instances of domestic violence. She was murdered on 12/3/25, husband's attorney filed to dismiss the case on 12/4/25

I'm wondering if the murders happened around 9:30 AM just before the wellness call went out. I also wonder if the husband was specifically concerned about child support payments if the divorce were finalized. People sometimes change up their careers while simultaneously making other major life decisions like a divorce. She could have planned to take a lower-stress job while going back to school, leaving the husband with a bigger financial obligation. And, of course, she could have been a stay-at-home mom, but I assume everyone is working in this economy.

That’s the tip of the iceberg in this one, trust me. All the court records can be viewed online. I linked several documents above.

I just got reading through all of the court docs.
Here are some notes
CB and husband first married in 2012. Then divorced (same year??) Then reconciled in 2013 and eventually re-married in 2015.

In CB's complaint for divorce she wanted sole custody, only supervised visitation, non-joint child support, spousal support, to remain at the marital property as well as for husband to complete a variety of professional screenings.

In CB's motion for continuance it talks about how the case involves significant financial assets and that CB had not worked since prior to the birth of the children. It also talks about a significant case and upcoming jury trial with CB as the victim in that case.

The motion for the follicle test has all the details it's dated 9/18/25. That seems to be the tipping point in this divorce case.

Also worth a read is the counterclaim dated 9/18/25, as well as the amended motion to quash dated 9/23/2025.

He was arrested in February this year and charged with four felony counts (DV against Charity/Kids were present). His previous wife allegedly committed suicide in 2012 (gun). I say allegedly because her family says to this day, she was murdered.

The 2025 DV case is listed at the court link I posted above.

I’m not sure who murdered Charity and the twins, but feel the arrest of a certain someone may be imminent.

Yep, as it was so early I wasn't sure if I could post those things. Or at least the details. I edited that post so many times lol. As you state there is a LOT in the divorce proceedings. Looking forward to when we can talk about them.

ETA on the second wife I can't wait to talk about those circumstances as well.

Interesting it says documents in the divorce case say the couple shared property in the 1100 block of South First Avenue. After Randall's arrest, the filing says Charity owned that property not them as a joint coupe, where the children were also living.

In the divorce filing, she was asked to remain in the family home? She hadn't worked in over ten years, so not sure what the deal is there?

BONANZA, Ark. — Court documents show that on February 16th, 2025, Charity Beallis' husband, Dr. Randall Beallis, was arrested after allegedly strangling Charity in front of her children at their Bonanza Home. Charity filed for divorce on March 5th, 2025.

On Friday, State Senator Terry Rice confirmed with 5NEWS that Charity visited him sometime earlier this year. When they met, Charity told Senator Rice that she was fearful for her life and the lives of her Children. Senator Rice put Charity in touch with different resources available through the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division.

While the case was ongoing, Charity commented on an unrelated 5NEWS Facebook post in August 2025 about her case:

"I’m living this battle right now. I am the victim, yet I’ve been treated like the problem while the criminal — a local doctor — is being shielded by the very system that’s supposed to protect us.

I’ve tried to reach Prosecuting Attorney Daniel Shue, but he won’t even accept a letter from me. My voice, as the victim, has been shut out.

This is not just about me — this is about a system that protects offenders and rejects victims. Lives are at stake, including the lives of young children.

Chilling words, three months later Charity and her twins are dead 🙁

Was her husband living in the home at the time of the murders?
