Not a huge surprise.
Pevehouse said Beallis’ estranged husband was d
riving a Tesla vehicle at the time. According to Pevehouse, location data compiled by Tesla showed the vehicle was not near the Bonanza residence that night. He also said the estranged husband’s cell phones
did not ping towers near the home.
According to Pevehouse, records from the home security alarm company show the
system was deactivated around 10 p.m. by Beallis using her phone, and she had exclusive access to the system.
Pevehouse said the company’s data indicated
no doors or windows were opened after the alarm was deactivated. He said when law enforcement arrived the next morning, no doors or windows were open and deputies used a key to enter. Deputies later tested each door and window and found them to be
operating properly, Pevehouse said.
