Found Deceased AR - Tripp Brazeale, 14, chased by police while riding an ATV at night, ran into woods, phone, wallet, boot found, near Forrest City, 3 Nov 2024

He ran and left his four-wheeler behind, so he didn't have that to crash or drive off a cliff.

How and with what was he able to commit suicide?

We know what the Sheriff's office is saying re MOD. I wonder what the coroner/ ME might have to say.

None of this makes sense to me.
Arkansas law enforcement don't make sense

Yeah, this doesn't make sense at all! Parts of this story must be missing and/or twisted.

I think there are a lot of parts of this story missing. The fact he was racing around on a quad at 1am with police chasing him and his parents saying "I need to know if he's alive," lead me to believe we having nothing close to the full story.

Good questions -- I would think some of us here, at least so far, are skeptical. It may be that LE wants to inform the parents before they give (if they give) any details to the public. And hoping that we will see more about the coroner's report.
He was just 14 years old -- prayers for his folks and for others who knew him.

Forrest City is a city in St. Francis County, Arkansas, United States, and the county seat. It was named for General Nathan Bedford Forrest, a notable Confederate war hero. Wikipedia

I think something happened at home with his parents or others. He was possibly upset, maybe under the influence, maybe threatened suicide, raced away on the ATV. The cops were called to the home, either while he was still there or shortly after he left and they gave chase. Poor kid. If only he knew that this would all blow over and his life would change. This sounds very likely. I hate seeing someone so young make a permanent decision about what is most likely temporary problem.

I was looking for updates but there are none. There is more to this story than what we are told. How does one go from riding atv’s in a place with friends, where they shouldn’t be, to running off when the police show up and then committing suicide in the woods? How would that even happen? Come on

My sense is that his parents would raise it if they felt there was law enforcement malfeascence or some other form of cover-up. Do you disagree? Do you theorize something else happened?

Yes, that is a good point. Maybe his family doesn’t have anything else to go on except the info from police, if his autopsy hasn’t been released yet.

Still wondering what method he used to commit suicide, if that's what happened ?
Was he armed ?
Did he take a rope with him ?
This is so sad, and indeed it's odd.
Imo.

Rest in peace, Tripp. :(

Just had a quick Google to see if there was a update and not going to say directly as its from Facebook but worth checking the post from missing in America and going newest comments (its a reply to pb) if true might explain why everything's quiet atm

Speculating, but what if he left home after self- harm threats and in possession of a weapon, and that's what prompted the police response? Again, speculating, moo, IMHO, etc.
