Good for Nurmi!

It's a closed hearing, CII. The doors are closed, and no reporters--including the Trial Divas--are allowed in the courtroom.

Oh okay. There sure have been a lot of closed hearings in this case. Guess that's so everyone doesn't hear about CMJA's meltdowns when she doesn't get her way. Hope the judge makes some decisions on record today.

They do have jury selection coming up...if it ever happens! :floorlaugh: They are probably trying to keep a low profile in light of that.

Who is with me in predicting that Nurmi isn't going anywhere? :floorlaugh:

Considering how long this hearing is taking, I think that's ample evidence Nurmi is still on the job. ;)

BBM: Are these women giving others a hinky vibe? I have a bit of a weird feeling about their little online shop .. or is it just me that is over people cashing in on murders and acting like a courtroom is a good chance to socialise and act like one is at some kind of social soiree?

Oh look http://thetrialdivas.com/merchandise/ you can just straight up give them cash to be there and tweet from the courtroom!! OK I'm officially 100% anti TrialDivas™ now, what in the ? .. it's just so damned ugh.

Anyone could do it, no doubt--officially or otherwise. And I agree with you that the presentation leaves much to be desired. :floorlaugh:

I don't know that they are cashing in though, at least not literally. Maybe someone else can answer that question.

Check out my link above .. they are definitely cashing in!

I left a comment there on their page. Not happy with what they are doing. Honestly what creeps think of to do to make money esp on the backs of a murder victim. I won't even get into the perp in this case. Hrump1

Oh good for you .. I should have done that too!

I checked out their website a few days ago. $$$$$$$ I found their site and some of their commentary unprofessional. I wondered if they talk like Valley Girls!

Yep they've always bugged me too .. They didn't pop up until the last few days of Arias trial and are all about the $$$ and drinking wine!

For some reason, I don't think that today went according to missy's :jail: plan today, what with the judge scheduling a status conference for 11/19.

Wonder if Judge Stephens said no to the ex parte request? That would have pizzed missy off...she wanted to tattle and tattle good.

With my limited legal knowledge, it seems reasonable to presume that the defense team is intact.

Wonder if CMJA can come up with another 12 page handwritten motion before the next court date.

Auntie, was this the s*** that was supposed to hit the fan?

This may be a stupid question but I’m rather puzzled and hope someone can provide an explanation. I noticed that the motion was signed by someone from the Inmate Legal Services of Maricopa County Sheriff’s Dept.

Per Inmate Legal Services: The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office provides legal services to inmates who represent themselves in their criminal cases (which does not apply in this case), or are involved in a civil rights action for conditions of confinement or where the inmate is the respondent in a civil/domestic action (which does not apply in this case), or petition for writ of habeas corpus (again it does not apply to this case).

Since this case does not meet the above conditions, why is the Inmate Legal Services involved and providing legal assistance to FJA?
