I'm wondering who else will be called to testify from other countries. Berlin? Paris? Either in the prelim or in the 'real trial' if one takes place.

Respectfully snipped by me.
The defendant, who wore a burgundy T-shirt, blue jeans and white sneakers. He was also sporting glasses with dark frames"
Is the attire quoted above (minus the glasses) standard prisoner clothing/uniform in the Province?
I ask this because if it's not standard inmate attire, it certainly is not attire that demonstrates respect for the Crown.
Thoughts?
Interestingly enough we haven't heard a peep about the guy in Paris who Magnotta allegedly hooked up with and spent circa 36 hours at the guy's place.
When the story was originally published I initially believed it but that week there was zero additional reporting on it and I posted that I suspected that the entire story was malarkey. I'm betting I'm right.
Has anyone heard anything about the Paris hookup since the initial report?
I'm in Ontario, but I'm sure its the same or similiar in Quebec, and I remember hearing they came to a compromise about a defendant's appearance. They don't require you to wear a suit and pants, but they don't make you wear your prison garb either , so you can dress casual with whatever's available. Some choose the high road or the low road depending on whether they care or not how they look.
You can bet Quebec taxpayers paid for the glasses, ultimately!
Wasn't he seen in a bar with a glass of Coke with "Mr. Muscles"?? I'll have to go back and read through the threads again.
Mon, 4 June: His arrest in the afternoon at the Web-cafe.
Thanks Haunted.
I'm surprised that his lawyers (the ones that haven't withdrawn from the case) would not strongly encourage him to wear an outfit that conveys respect and professionalism to the Crown. Jeans, a t-shirt and sneakers could annoy a judge or be viewed as disrespectful.
Maybe clothing choice was part of why the lawyer quit, on the other hand- maybe wearing jeans, tshirt and running shoes might help LM appear younger and more naive...
Crying again, Who knew LM was sooo sensitive ?!..

"MONTREAL The janitor who worked at Luka Rocco Magnotta's apartment took the stand at the accused murderer's preliminary hearing Friday.
Michael Nadeau appeared nervous as Crown attorney Louis Bouthillier questioned him.
At one point during the janitor's testimony, Magnotta's face turned red and he dabbed his eyes, bowed his head and and put his hand on his chin"
I believe the emotions were real and Magnotta was crying because the truth came out on the record in Court; remember Luka was proud to tell anyone of his rich & famous lifestyle and those tears genuine because Luka felt exposed because the world now knows he lived in that dump.
It was Magnotta who made it a "dump", to the discredit of people who call the building home.
No one here is denying he did it. However, he has plead not guilty and must have some defense, whether it is true and believable, or not.
