Sub judice (see previous thread).

Yes thanks I saw that...so someone would have copped a whack for releasing info re blood in car & life insurance policy...they were pretty quick off the mark with that info last night.

I hope they play the full unedited interview!!!

Strange if they're playing the old interview now? Wonder what was said that couldn't be shown until now?

I honestly don't get that.... If most of, or all the Baden Clay were innocent of any involvement and though they may have suspected (like plenty of people have suspected) that GBC did murder Allison, then why be wanting the media to annoy all his family because of who they are... because of the accident of birth?

If someone in anyone's family commits a murder, I don't understand why wish to have that whole family annoyed by the media. Personalising it, if my brother, sister, father or any relative committed a murder and I was innocent, I don't see why I should have to pay for it.
I agree with you Blue Bottle!Just because they are Gerads parents or sister etc, doesn't mean they should be hounded by the media.I think they are going to have trouble ,even holding their heads up,they will have too go out at some stage, and I bet people will give them a hard time ,because they are Gerads parents.
They may appear a little strange too some, what a boring place the world would be ,if we were all the same!
I am wondering if Gerad had confided to Olivia, maybe that is why detectives made a visit too Townsville.
I hope not!

They wouldn't be delaying bail for time to raise assets would they?

Looks like Ikea furnished it.

:what:

Biting of lip in that interview really stood out to me, doesn't say "my poor brother and sister in law" to me. To me it says "I feel really awkward and watch what you say brother".

Same! It was like she was more worried about what he was going to say. This was before Allison was found. imo she knew he had done something.

No, it gives their ages.

Really, seriously, actually, it's because of sub judice. Laws regarding sub judice cover what can and can't be published after a person (or people) have been charged with an offence.

Cheers

To be honest, I don't expect anything new. Just filling space and continue with the case on the headlines. IMO.

How do we know this though?

Kimster posted a link few pages back, to an interview recording in the ABC, where it is stated that the Charge Sheet states the second charge is in relation to moving the body to the Kohlo Creek. The murder charge is in relation to him allegedly killing her at their home

The order was for it to be a non intimate DNA retrieval- no body cavities. Hence taking the hair I think.(rather than mouth swab).

Yep understand

yes, she looked like an armed bandit, the way she stood behind him (gun pressed to his back) to make sure he didn't F*** up...and the eyes were supervigilant too. But Ive tossed back and forth ofer this as she could have just been plain scared nervous anxious and worried for Allison...Im not feeling all that anymore so much

Thanks CC, thats what I was thinking :)

I had been pushing the Drug thing for so long I gave up because people kept shutting me down...I still maintain that it appears that he has lost weight in a short period of time. I believe that this is due to drug use..Possibly Cocaine? Maybe Speed? but this is usually considered a dirty drug amongst the wealthy and affluent. I won't be surprised if it comes out that he had been dabbling in Cocaine...I have a few friends that are involved in the use of this drug and his behaviour reflects the use of it!

I think he has put some weight back on in the last few weeks...anyone else think this also?

All of this is of course my opinion which I am entitled to before some of you slam me once again for mentioning the use of Cocaine!

maybe if you capitalise all your letters and put them in bold..it will get your message out faster!!! or repost (I am guilty of not reading it properly too :D)

I think so too....I have thought this for a long time and have had my head bitten off a few times, when I have mentioned my feelings about her during that interview. When one reads up on body languages and facial expression meanings etc..............she displayed classic symptoms of being what my mom refers to her as (imagine old woman with french accent saying) "typical bulls**t artiste". She thought that about Gerard too.

... it's like those Secret Service agents minding someone important. Stiff, eyes and ears wide open.

To Greg: you've got the sibling thing running strong today hey? So much about that family just seems slightly off doesnt it? Its not enough to pinpoint just what it is yet...but they ring some bells.

and If the police did in fact go to Townsville yesterday to put the pressure on her...would that be a tactic more likely to be used on a perpetrator/accessory or more likely on someone with inside info, who might buckle?

Could be on to something. When watching a replay of "the interview" on the news last night, I began to look more closely at her body language which was almost as dodgy as his (shifty eyes, biting her lip). Also noted in another clip how OW claimed GBC was told by police NOT to attend the command post at Brookfield...which was flatly contradicted by Supt Ainsworth with a, "That's news to me!" Was she simply perpetuating a lie GBC told her or was she making it up to protect him?

Very army regimented....I found it looked like she was shutting him up....Almost like she made him do it...and he was under the thumb.
