Others have called the media.....I thought a few people may have had some connection with her (knew her). I wont be calling her myself. If no-one calls, thats fine....Im not holding people down with knees on their chests......and I didn't ask you personally to call her....so whatever....But it's ok that you disagree with my methods, I dont mind. :)

Guess I'm not much of a sleuth. I have the highest of media sources in my family but would never dream of asking him.

I heard it on one of the TV news tonight. Might have been 10 or the ABC. Or even 9. Not 7 cause I didn't watch that. Definitely said no other persons would be charged. Made me wonder if he might confess or at least plead guilty. Honesty...

Do I believe everything I hear in the msm ? Hmmmm Let's just this once,
You need bait to catch a couple of big rats :fence: shhhhh

So if Olivia was in Brisbane before Thursday 19 April, does it really change anything?

I do remember when we were discussing this very early on, one poster came back very strongly a couple of times and said that Olivia was definitely not involved.

Comments anyone?

You are a fine sleuth Nads.....You are a good person and have much integrity...A person with integrity, would not ask so much from their family...or friends.

These little askings can be the tip of the iceberg, that changes the mechanics in relationships (where people feel used for what they know)....and that should never happen with friends or family.

Thanks BreakingNews. It was reported earlier today too - and is mentioned in quite a few posts earlier on in this thread, or maybe even the last. Searching back now.

It just adds another possible suspect or accomplice into the mix.

Prior to Channel 10 (or whichever channel it was) saying no more people would be charged.....YES. But now, who knows. Unless the police or media are bluffing.

Thanks.. I watched most of 7 and did not see it. ANd I saw 9's report on the BC case and did not see it. Someone said channel 10 had it on.

Yes, might have been Channel 10. Regional news at 5pm where I live.

Could be the police saying whatever suits their case at the time ie that nobody else would be charged. Or yes indeedy they could be bluffing. Or they may just want to keep the media off their backs!

Maybe....Maybe they are letting the accomplice think, they have got away with it.....and then POUNCE.

In a way though, lets hope no more people were involved (I feel there were more people). Tonight I felt a bit devastated for the Nigelaine's. I know they were abusive to the police and that is not very nice at all. But they did seem pro-active in the girls lives (the girls would love them)......and if they were not involved in the crime, then I just feel so very sad for them.....as now, they probably wont see the girls...and to go from SO MUCH to Nothing, would be devastating for them.

To add to my previous post....

The Nigelaines have their son in Canada, their daughter in Townsville......their son, now in jail....their Daughter in Law DEAD....and their grand daughters that lived locally, now gone too.

If they had something to do with this crime....I say STUFF EM.....But if they didn't......they didnt deserve their son to do this to them.

Yes, that would be the bluffing possibility.

This is exactly how I feel about the whole thing. For Allison's girls, this is the worst possible outcome that could have come from this set of circumstances. To lose such a loving mother so early in life, and then face years of agony of coming to terms with the truth about their father...

Yet, I still suspect they will support their son even if they know he is guilty. Not sure why I say that.

I have always thought that I wouldn't support my kids if they do something heinous. And I still think that. Too many people these days think they should just accept any rubbish behaviour from their offspring.

Hey Grannie, welcome back! Seems they did have evidence on GBC after all.

So much loss and sadness all round....Had this been a Shakespeare novel....The book Romeo and Juliet, would not have even made it to the shelves, compared to this tragedy....It couldnt get any worse for those lovely little ladies. :(

I don't know what to think of her involvement (or not). She was in the army, might have learned a few things? She is the only one that has fronted the media other than GBC, now we learn she was in Brisbane already, QPS asking for TV programming schedules for the day before, the Charge Sheet saying that Allison was murdered on or about April 19, etc.

Found in wiki:

In 1939 Baden-Powell noted in his diary: "Lay up all day. Read Mein Kampf. A wonderful book, with good ideas on education, health, propaganda, organisation etc. – and ideals which Hitler does not practise himself."
