I am not sure, maybe just that they cant report on it.

I dont think there is going to be anything from any news source.

Channel 9 has nothing new to report except that the hearing is taking place

Well it's now just past 10.30...there's only 10mins to go if it was supposed to take only 40mins as reported.

Defence team likely to make a suppression order application after this hour-long bail hearing. #badenclay #qld

After? So we hear info today then?

Exactly my thoughts. Just man up, plead guilty and take your punishment. IMO
too late for that. hes in too deep. should have done it at the very beginning

Gerard would have to have a hefty reason for achieving a suppression order...

The "salaciousness"?

All of us nosey Parkers?

I'd say it will just be the amount of public interest.

I would still be interested to know where all the money is coming from to pay his legal team.

If the public are able to attend how can they stop them talking about it?

  • #1,111
I wonder if they have decided on the suppression order because of different versions of the news reports??

  • #1,112
Does that mean it would be a closed court as well or could members of the public attend?
i think it means no public or press and counsel will be very quite in any interview outside.

Talking about it in the media could result in contempt of court I think.

Apparently it's going for an hour now.

Im wondering if the search at th BCs house was more for caution re: the bomb threat, and ensuring they were in no danger themselves.

May have been mentioned already

thats why i think the public will not be allowed in. i believe we will hear whether he gets bail or not but nothing else like COD or any details
