That is true Jeana, Its scary!
According to Toth, Carr is a "former" school teacher. If he's already in a Thai jail on an unrelated sex charge, perhaps he only just got caught.

Allegedly been e-mailing Patsy. I always felt the killer was obsessed with Patsy. I can't wait to see this unravel.

CNN.com keeps updating their story. Updated two minutes ago online:

A law enforcement source identified the suspect as 41-year-old John Mark Carr, a one-time school teacher. He was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand, following "several months of a focused and complex investigation," District Attorney Mary Lacy said.

Two law enforcement sources told CNN that Carr was under investigation for an unrelated sex crime.

"....Ramsey family attorney Lin Wood said in Atlanta that he has been told that the suspect once lived in Conyers, Ga., outside of Atlanta...."

Ramsey family attorney Lin Wood said in Atlanta that the arrest was vindication for JonBenet's parents, John and Patsy Ramsey, who came under suspicion in the slaying.

Wood said the Ramseys learned about the suspect a least a month before Patsy Ramsey's death June 24 after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

"It's been a very long 10 years, and I'm just sorry Patsy isn't here for me to hug her neck," the attorney said.

Wood said that he had been told that the suspect once lived in Conyers, Ga., outside of Atlanta. He would not comment on whether the Ramseys knew him, and he said he knew nothing else about the man. The Ramseys lived in Georgia up until 1991; they moved back to Atlanta after their daughter's death.

Could it be S (school), B (?), T (teacher), C (Carr)?

Federal law enforcement sources said the suspect -- a 41-year-old second-grade schoolteacher -- is in custody in Bangkok, Thailand, where he's being held on unrelated sex charges.

Denver's KMGH-TV identified the suspect as U.S. citizen John Mark Carr. However, authorities did not immediately confirm that information.

Boulder, Colo., District Attorney Mary Lacy confirmed that an arrest had been made in a statement released Wednesday afternoon. She said the arrest was the result of a "focused and complex investigation," but she did not release additional details about the suspect.

The Rocky Mountain News reported that the suspect is originally from Conyers, Ga. It was not immediately clear whether the suspect had a connection to the Ramsey family, who currently live in Georgia.

OMG, this is like the whole case just started all over again!

I never thought this would be solved, mostly because of the screw-ups at the start.

Thank you, Jesus!!!!!

Buzz, if the handwriting doesn't match the ransom note and the DNA doesn't match will you be the one to eat your own cuisine?

I find it just a little bit more than hinky that some guy from GA would go clear to CO just to murder JB....unless he had connections to JR (and was ticked off at him for whatever reason) that can be proven I'll reserve judgement.
Well the news says that they have been onto him for months so they have to have a good "hunch". And I think they said he lived in Colorado once, I am not sure of all the details yet.

I read it is Karr. here is a John Carr in Thailand who is a noted child psychologist who fights to protect children from sexual abuse. It's not him! LOL

I am glad that Patsy knew they were closing in on someone before she died. Its weird how things were out like that.

...the suspect in custody knew details about the murder that had not been made available to the general public.
Was this before or after Lou Smit came in contact with him?
