Holy cow. I knew all of you would be posting quickly on this!!

I just heard the news. I always believed it was someone in the immediate family. Egg on my face. :(

Justice for Jon Benet!

I hope we don't have to wait until they get this suspect back in the states before we hear any more about this. That could take days/weeks.

If this turns out true Maura, dont worry there will be Egg on many peoples faces. I think 90% of people thought they had something to do with it. I was on the fence all the time but I never really thought patsy or john did it but maybe covered for burke.

Make some coffee AND a martini!! You'll be awake and in a good mood!! I hope and pray that this arrest turns out to be something.
Now there's a thought - there's two bottles of champagne in the fridge, so you think "him indoors" would notice?

I'm almost afraid to get off the forum because it might crash an I won' be able to get back in!

I really really hope and pray they caught the killer. If true ... how unfortunate Patsy couldn't be with her family to see this day!

I Googled NEWS about this announcement, of which there was none yet, but the article I pulled up was about the Apple Dumpling Gang who are a team of retired LE investigators who are working on solving 3 or 4 cases in Boulder. I just skimmed it as it was not what I wanted, but I'll go pull it up. I recognized one name of a guy that I think I saw do a special about the case.

ETA: Lou Smit is a member of this ADG

It was in connection with the solved case of Heather Church that Smit was quoted as saying that the parents were not involved in JonBenet's murder. I think I read it either in this link or in the related links: http://huffcrimeblog.com/?cat=15

I expect that it will turn out to be someone who knew the family or perhaps who worked with John.

Julianne, if the parents had just sat down with police in the first place, an arrest might have been made a LOT sooner and they wouldn't have suffered at the hands of the media for "not co-operating". We can't re-write history - facts is facts.
BRAVO, I was just thinking of a way to write that.
