I suppose, but he seems like a bit of a weakling in real life, and I bet there are some very persuasive detectives trying hard.

More just thinking of the legal, a couple of countries involved perspective.....who would be interrogating him? germans or canadians? and does he yet have a lawyer? if so are they german or canadian?

sorry my mind is just going of in all directions with a million questions...I watch WAY too many detective shows on tv

I'm on the fence with this one....but apparently there is one site still broadcasting it, is it the BG site? IF so, nu uh, no way should that still be on the net now.............people would be actively looking for it in their droves.

"Body parts" is VERY vague and could include anything from small human remains (for example that area where the hand and wrist connect or similar "parts") to a full body, just in parts.

I think the fact that they specified hand, foot, head, means the arms and legs are accounted for.

You know, I just heard his voice again on Dr. Drew. He just replayed that LM interview that all the media outlets have been airing since this case broke. LM's voice reminds me of that character in Silence of the Lambs who played Buffalo Bill. "It puts the lotion in the basket". Just saying.

FWIW, the real Michael Fox is from Vancouver, actually grew up in Burnaby.

The cat killings out here are happening in Maple Ridge, not Vancouver, so the "Vancouver Cat Killer" is a bit of a misnomer.

is there a way to specify when you want packages delivered in canada? for example next day delivery or 1st/2nd class like in the uk? or can you request specific dates?

IMO, you can specifiy air mail or ground service but I don't think you can specify the exact date of delivery. They can give you an approximate date.

Using a courier service like FedEx or Purolator would allow that option but that's not the case here, apparently.

I get what your saying and I agree, but if it wasn't broadcast to the best gore community things wouldn't have happened as quickly as they did and he may not have been caught as quickly ...IMO....but who knows...the vid can still be found in a few places now...but I agree they need to be taken down out of respect.

well if it was not broadcast nobody would have done any investigation into this....

unfortunately police were contacted by the bestgore owner and they IGNORED IT....

so the site got the vid out there and well here we are 5 threads later along w/ other groups hunting him down...

people who saw the video aided more in this idiot being captured than the police did!

if that vid had not been uploaded and allowed to remain i seriously doubt the work of everyone would have happened and i doubt he would have been caught....

Thanks ... I went to look at images of pugs and boston terrier. It is my opinion that it was a dog and that it was a Boston Terrier - I did not know that a dog's paw was pointed like that. Here is a standard picture grabbed from the internet of what the dog looked like that was in the video.

Does he have a history in Vancouver? If so, what is it?


Is there anything in the names False Creek or St. George that we can connect to Magnotta?

- Can we connect him to having prior friendships or relationships with any staff at either school? Were any of the staff members at these schools active in the animal rights hunt for Magnotta?

Someone posted a Twitter link upstream that there are unconfirmed reports that the son of BC's Premier Christy Clark attends False Creek PS. Maybe another gov't official has a child at St George? Maybe completely unrelated and untrue, but sharing in case you missed that post...everything is moving super fast again!!

The owner of that website states on his site that if he gets a request from the family, he will remove the video. I read it today.

I'm shocked he could afford a plane ticket. From what I understand, these days heroin is cheaper than crystal meth.

Don't forget he had fairly recently..February, been in L.A. He could have made some serious money there perhaps? He also might have taken "bath salts"? Perhaps he took money from his victim in Montreal? Taken his credit card if the victim had one?

I think he modeled himself on as many characters from his favorite slasher movies as possible and I thought of him too and Hannibal, of course. The knife and fork thing comes from the movie Hannibal, I think (very disgusting scene). Tramell, from Basic Instinct with his blond hair, his snotty attitude and the way he smokes his cigarettes and lifts his eyebrows like a know-it-all. Some of it is subtle and some of it is over the top obvious. He spent all of time studying these films.
