Hi guys....had to do the grocery shopping..so I gather the other two packages didnt turn up today......for you guys in canada, if he sent them all together and they are all sent to within canada (which am thinking might be the case) as once it goes internationally dont you have to sign things etc etc etc...chances are they are going to turn up in the next day or so.

My guess is that he staggered the mailings, either on purpose or through a few trips to the PO. Ignorant, self-obsessed and ham-fisted as he certainly is, LRM has somehow produced a horrorshow situation fraught with suspense, dread and talking points. My real fear is that he has generated a template that a genuinely clever and well-resourced copycat can follow to still more devastating effect.

Someone walking in the residential neighbourhood of Notre Dame to Grace Wednesday spotted the foot near a sidewalk on rue St. Jacques & called police.

Forensic tests will be done on it to figure out who it belongs to.

The packaging apparently on the Vancouver parts are similar to the packaging sent to Ottawa.

This case is a very rude awakening for those still alseep, that evil lurks in our society and that there are hoards of very very sick and twisted individuals in our midst. I do hope those who are still naive about their internet connections have learned something.

Regarding the magazines found at Magnotta's Paris hotel: My gut instinct tells me that the magazine features Magnotta and "Little Luka"; kind of as a message to communicate to the police how smart he is and how he views them as dumb.

Seriously, in the age of the Internet, no one buys magazines anymore...

Agree but he apparently didn't have a computer that is why he was caught at an internet café. He bought them for a reason. Anybody's guess as to why, I suppose.

There is a tribute page for her on facebook, the impression I get from one post in particular is that it was possibly a case of suicide. A man is mentioned but I get the impression that he may have been a partner (possibly abusive) who drove her to taking her own life. I assume she was divorced as only her maiden name is used on the tribute page.

Hard to piece things together from it but I don't believe LM had anything to do with it.

Accounts so far seem to say that he met him in a bar, although there have been suggestions he was an internet acquaintance of Luka's.

My take on the Paris trick and 2 1/2 day "hookup": The only hookups that I have heard about that last over 24 hours include a PNP (party and play) element to them. For those unfamiliar with the term PNP, it is a sexual encounter which includes the use of drugs (crystal meth, cocaine, heroin or MDMA) which fuel and/or enhance the experience. People who PNP scare me.

That being said, given the symptoms of vomiting and crying that Magnotta demonstrated on the flight to Paris (per the blog of the gentleman sitting next to him on the flight), I believe Magnotta might have been experiencing withdrawal from heroin. If this is the case, upon his arrival in Paris he would be desperate for a "fix" of heroin or another drug which would tame his withdrawal symptoms. If that is the case and he met someone who could help him get that "fix", that would explain the 2 1/2 day hookup to me.

There is a memorial page to her on FB, or there was and yes, she did die in 2010...suddenly...but that is all I know about it.

Which is why I suspect the Vancouver packages are some sick person, likely someone working for a medical cadaver company, is trying to pull a prank or take out agressions..

Down East, the Maritimes?

I was thinking the Prairies provinces. He sent them to Ottawa (East), Vancouver (West). There is Manitoba or Saskatchewan (middle). Or up north NWT (I doubt it).

What about down south? US? He sent 2 packages to our government. Maybe a package to the US government? I hope not but if he did, I think that will be a clue that he may have had other victims south of the border, imo.
