I must say that I'm very glad that a new set of eyes (Daytona State Prosecutor, Ed Davis) is helping out with the questioning of the players in this case. Maybe we can see this case solved very soon.

Is this the guy who just gave Ronald a deal? If he is....well....I'm not impressed.

I'm hoping that Chelsea with finally clear Joe publicly. He can probably thank her for not getting all this pinned on him. Maybe if he's cleared he'll tell anything that he knows about that night. Someone needs to offer proof and evidence against who did this.

She already said that Misty's Joe story was a lie but I'm not sure if she can go any further in clearing Joe because it will cast a very odd light on her own statements trying to implicate Joe.

If you go back & listen to Tommy's jail tapes, you might get a different view of him. 1st of all, he was scared of gen pop, & the other inmates taunted him with, 'Where's that baby?" Misty & Ron weren't treated this way. 2ndly, he & Lindsy bent over backwards to placate Misty. Why? That tells me that Misty had the power. & considering his weak charges, he was way too fearful & antsy, & spent way too much time trying to convince Lindsy, (himself?), that if he laid low & played it cool, he would get just 3 years. Plus, IMO, every time that Haleigh's name was brought up, I could hear the rising anger in his voice. & then the failed LDT, & then the call to Flo, (which he lied about), but OMG, what a call. When Tommy told Flo that he was gonna do something that he should've done a long time ago, IMO, I could hear the fakeness in his voice. & then Lindsy, on another line, asked if he was 'THE ONE'. WTH??? This case made me realize something...that it's human nature to minimize one's involvement. So, when Tommy put himself banging on that trailer door, I figured that he had gone inside. When he later admitted to being inside, but said Joe was the killer, I figured that HE was the one. So yes, I'm believing Misty's story, but have to admit, that I'm wondering about her involvement. Was she home? gone? Did she put up a fight? just hand Haleigh over? & what exactly went on between these 2?

Tommy was very cold when any mention was made of Haleigh, especially the one time when Lindsay said something like "we just need to find Haleigh" and he sounded so cold when he replied "that's not going to happen", then quickly said something else that seemed to cover up what he'd just said. It was chilling. I never heard the video with her asking if he was the one.

While reviewing the "bombshell" out today about Misty cracking I can't help but think about one of the rare jail audios we got to hear between a hoarse, voiced Teresa Neves with Ronald Cummings, asking "Do You Think She Will Talk?". I'll bet both of them right now are wondering if Misty indeed, did talk.

Oh, I so hope Ronald, TN, and GGS are worried out of their collective minds about that, lone!

MOO

Me too, LT!!!! I firmly believe these are the three people who know everything that happened and were able to pull the gullible Croslins right into their lair. I'm sorry, I do not believe Misty or Tommy were big time drug dealers. They were users who would use anything they could get their hands on and RC was their main source. Too bad they didn't have enough God given sense to know when to cut and run!

No, that would be Assistant State Attorney Jason Lewis who prosecuted the drug trafficking charges.

“She said, she couldn’t find Haleigh,” Lisa told me in our first exclusive interview in the Spring of 2009 outside her home in Satsuma, Florida, and posted at The Bald Truth to illustrate where Misty’s tall tales begin, including the family scapegoat, cousin Joe, now exonerated by Misty.

“I said, ‘Misty, go through the trailer and look everywhere, look real hard,’ and she said, ‘The back door is wide open.’ I said, ‘Call the PO-lice right now, and that’s when she opened the back door and found Ronald, standing in the doorway.”
At the time, her mother was also pitching the Joe Overstreet theory, but now says there’s only one person Misty truly feared, her now ex husband, Ronald Cummings, convicted drug dealer, wannabe 🤬🤬🤬🤬.

snipped from AH link: my question to Lisa: So what is it Lisa? The back door was wide open... Or she opened the door to find Ron standing there???? These people are all lying and covering for one another. Pass me the barf bucket.. (oops too late!)

Lone...I wonder why there is a new set of eyes now. And a prosecutor, not LE. Is it possible an arrest is about to be made and it is believed that a change of venue will be necessary?

Daytona, where Art says the prosecutor is from, is in Volusia Co. Volusia Co. is in the same judicial circuit
(7th) as Putnam.
The circuit consists of 4 counties, St. Johns, Flagler, Volusia and Putnam.
I'm no legal beagle but I think duties within the same circuit can intertwine.

I will admit for a long time I thought Joe Overstreet was the main perpetrator in this crime but I had a light bulb moment yesterday and now I see things much clearer.

I kept thinking what do the real perpetrators usually do in situations like this and it was clear as a bell to me that they do just exactly what Misty and Tommy have been doing all along.

They point the finger at anyone but themselves. First it was Joe and then Misty gives a little up by saying Tommy was forced to help Joe dispose of the body. Still lying and protecting Tommy. Still making it sound like she and Tommy were victims of Joe.

So, IMOO Misty and Tommy are the two perpetrators. Now they may have involved other kinfolk afterward but they were there imo together that night when Haleigh was killed.

I have never thought for one second Misty would cover for RCs. Teens her age will turn on their ex in a heartbeat to save their own butt imo. But I do think there are two people she would protect as long as she possibly could and that is her brother, Tommy, and herself.

IMO
