Ask Me Anything/ Paul Holes Cold Case Forensic Investigator/ Feb 27th at 8:00 PM Eastern.

Thank you so much for taking the time to answer questions. Your work has been incredible!

Everyone should read your "Unmasked" book. From reading it, I know you have made tremendous personal sacrifices but you have made an everlasting difference in solving crimes and getting answers for families. Keep up the amazing work giving a voice to the voiceless!!
Unmasked is excellent. I have my (signed - lucky me!) copy next to my bed that one of my ME friends got from CrimeCon. I really appreciated the way that Paul conveyed such openness and vulnerability in relation to how his work has affected him personally and in relation to his family. It's reassuring to know that there can be some big hearts beneath the tough exterior of law enforcement. I imagine it would not be hard to get jaded, but dedication to the victims and their families first and foremost keeps that light shining. Thanks so much for your time, Paul!

It depends at what level you are thinking about. Many are trying to help doing the computer-based research. "Websleuths". A lot of that is learning how to do the online research. Right now I would just advise to pay attention to NAMUS, DNASolves, and find a case you are passionate about and start digging.
For people based in the UK, it's worth keeping an eye on Locate International who periodically invite applications from would-be investigators. They've just closed the latest round of recruitment but there may be other opportunities later in the year.

We work on missing persons and unidentified remains, mostly UK cases but some overseas ones as well.
