Peepers, there is no doubt that someone in the house killed JBR and that they covered her with a blanket. But you have absolutely no evidence the Rs were involved. If it was simple maths it would have been solved very quickly. This is more complex than 1+1.

JonBenet was not 'covered' with a blanket, she was 'papoosed' in a blanket. Quite the difference actually.

Patsy talked about Burke in the Christmas letter. He had grown a lot in a year and as you said, knew how to swing a bat. I will step back a step here however and say that I don't think, even for a second, that Burke had a conscious thought of, 'hmm I think I'll hit her over the head and kill her', but I think that if he did hit her, he was plenty strong enough to crack her skull.

I truly believe that John and Patsy 'took it from there'. This is what led to their solidarity and the method of their defense. Could explain the demeanor of Burke at Patsys funeral also.

Sunny, I totally agree with you about BR being strong enough to crack JBRs head with a bat. In our house, every child takes self-defence classes as well as martial arts (making sure they will never be victims without fight again) let me assure anyone reading this, children are strong enough to cause great damage and or death, especially if taught the skill e.g swinging a bat. You have to hit a ball pretty hard to hit the outfield or a home run. BR was also strong enough to hit her in the face with a golf club and break the skin. If he went boating with his father and we know that he had, than it would be safe to say he was taught work on the boat, this too would take a strength beyond spaghetti arms. He was not the frail little tiny Tim, we continually see him depicted as. BR was a healthy child capable of a childs irrational anger, frustration and most likely the urge to strike out when angered, with the strength to do real harm to his six year old sister.

Someone in that house killed JB..and someone (or more) covered it up. I dont think there's any denying it was covered or staged when you put it all together in a logical sense with the emotion out of it I dont believe there is another person the R's would have covered for but someone in that house. They wouldnt have covered for a stranger, or a friend or a work associate. If IDI did it, then they were victims with no need to cover up anything. 1+1 will always equal 2.

Careful, Peepers. That kind of clear thinking isn't very popular around here. I ought to know.
