Attorney Brad Conway To Release More Evidence In Anthony Case On 09/30/09

So, correct me if I'm wrong but - yesterday there was a doc dump of 1000 pages. Today BC comes out with (the same) 1000 pages of discovery and insinutates the SA has somehow withheld information, when all he is really doing is preemptively interpreting the evidence contained within the doc dump.

Picking apart forensic evidence (or the lack thereof) in an attempt to create doubt in the minds of the public is just ludicrous at this point.

This case is not based on any one piece of evidence but a huge chain of circumstantial evidence that points to no one other than KC.

Having a press conference and acting like this is new info is absurd. Their case has totally jumped the shark if they have to resort to public manipulation. The media needs to get a clue and stop being manipulated by these idiotic defense tactics.

Bet you BC's agreement with CA and GA includes payment if and only if KC's case is won by the defense. Otherwise, him inserting himself in the defense of KC is just not above board (maybe not even ethical or legal)

I'm also wondering if this isn't a publicity ploy by the defense to try and reach some sort of plea deal now. It's obvious there is an incredible amount of evidence against Casey and little to prove her innocence. They're trying to create doubt and with filing the motions to dismiss the murder and remove the DP.

WE don't know who else was testing the hair after Erin - she refers to sending it on so presumably there are other test results.

I agree. It's so strange but I haven't followed another AL Death Penalty case before. Appears that she does whatever it takes to get DP off the table. In this case, there are very outspoken parents and their attorney that can be used to try to achieve this. It is interesting that she has managed to keep the Anthonys out of the public eye but get their side told by using their attorney. If I had not been following this from the beginning I would be confused and wonder if the State had the wrong person. It is so in your face nuts to have a big build up like this and then release old evidence but if you haven't been following the case you wouldn't know it was old info.

Exactly! What BC released is part of what was already give to the defense in late August. I am just very confused why he feels he has the right to do that?

One theory I have about this is that before CA & GA get thrown under the bus, they are trying to interject themselves into the defense team and make that scenario impossible or difficult for the defense to do.

Im a new poster here, Im from Scotland and wasnt aware of this tragic childs life until a few months ago. I have spent many a day and night catching up and reading hundreds of threads and posts regarding this sorry state of affairs. I have never in my life heard or read anything so blatently outrageous in my life.

What sparked my utter disbelief today was the claim that the hair on the duct tape found on Caylee didnt match her or her mother im I reading this right or do my eyes deceive me?

They excluded the hair on the shovel as being from Casey or Caylee.

Also concerning the hair...Once the lab got ahold of that hair mass there was PLENTY of hair roots to compare to the one they had, don't you think? This would certainly be indicative they were from a corpse if the ones in the hair mass are the same as the one single one, right?

BBM Let's see....LKB wants to educate the Judge on certain points and the defense has assembled a panel of "experts" to refute any "junk science" that will point to their client. BUT.....in an effort to preserve KC's right to a fair trial, BC on behalf of the A clan is going to use his forensic expertise likely bestowed upon him by CA, to interpret the "junk science" findings in a manner which points to KC's innocence? If it's junk science, what's to refute?*

I also think that JB may also be using CA & GA to do publicly what AL has told him is unacceptable. JB has overexposed himself to the media. I doubt BC would have done this on his own without urging from CA.

I keep remembering how when MN and TM had their press conference, BC was right down the hall and it looked like JB himself had called GA up to storm over there, because I doubt BC would have sanctioned that kind of bad press for his clients. I think JB is manipulating CA & GA and not going through BC first, but BC is being dragged into this by pressure from the Anthonys.

The testing they are reporting on was done before discovery of the remains though- they had only a hairbrush which Cindy sabotaged with which they could compare.
They may have compared the hair in the trunk to those found in Dec since, but as far as I know they have not released that yet.....?

Sorry. I didn't mean it the way that you took it.

I just meant that the report could be inaccurate because no one at the station had taken the time to read the docs and just assumed that BC was telling the truth.

Maybe I am totally mistaken. Maybe these emails are copies of emails sent to someone else so that they contain the same info but I am sure that I read this info yesterday.

If someone will point me in the direction of the pdfs from yesterday (the ones that I went through were labeled 1 through whatever and started with the emails between DC and CA), I will look and make sure that I am not wrong.
