Question is - will Gabriel fall victim to the spell of Casey just like all the others?????
They will make the state pay for most of it imo. Destitute client and all.I still am not understanding how Baez and his assorted minions can put on a defense in a capital murder case without getting paid??? This case could cost them millions to pay for investigators, experts, testing, etc etc!! Not to mention their salary, since they're not going to have much time to represent other paying clients. Anyone know?
Gabriel has already been with her since day 1 so it's safe to assume yes.
I agree with your assessment of JB You don't go from law school to private practice without some actual time under someone else's tutelidge. It doesn't sound good and it shows a HUGE lack of experience. If you can't get hired on at a firm, you go for public defender or a minion in hte prosecutor's office. You don't open your own law firm. mooTwo years. JB-3 years. I'm stunned that they think they are representing anyone on a capital case. I don't know what JB's employment record is prior to opening his own law practice but it is highly unusual to open your own practice within 3 years of passing the bar. Normally it's an indication that you couldn't find a job. And that's normally an indication of your performance and work history (or lack thereof) in law school. JMHO, but I don't believe JB is qualified to handle this magnitude of a criminal case---if the Judge doesn't pipe up and allows this to happen--and there is a conviction--I see a reversal for ineffective assistance of counsel in the future.
That makes me want to grind up a bunch of palmetto bugs - or cockroaches in a blender and send it to him.
Maybe they're going on the assumption that 2+3=5 for a total of the 5 years required? :waitasec:

Pour soul .... so many have fallen under her spell.
Shall we also mention the tax payers money that will be used to battle this out in court!!!!
Sorry if this has been covered, but since most everything is recorded at the jail (phone calls, visitors, etc) do you think anything is recorded when the lawyers visit? I know that must be pretty much against the law or is it?
no nothing is recorded with the lawyers
I just know some people in LE are not by the book and I just didn't know if maybe it could be recorded just not used against her. But, Thank you for answering.

2 whole years experience? :waitasec: If I was on trial for something like this I'd opt for an atty will ALOT more experience!!
NO WAY!They require 5 years in Florida and prior experience but KC can sign a waiver and he can represent her. That takes away any appeal though for ineffective counsel.
I found this.
