Shereen Kumar, a professional dog walker and part-time model, was last seen at her home on Taylors Road in Dural, northwest of Sydney, about 9pm.

At the time, she was wearing white pyjamas and a purple dressing gown, NSW Police said.

She has been described as being of Indian Sub-Continental appearance and about 175cm tall with a slim build and long black hair.

News.com.au understands she worked as a dog walker for two companies and has a background in modelling.

“Please, please, please if you see my beautiful friend anywhere or have any information, call Crimestoppers,” wrote one concerned friend online.

“Please help locate my beautiful friend/work colleague,” shared another.

  • Shereen Kumar, 43, was last seen leaving a home in Dural at 9pm on Wednesday
  • Unable to find her, family reported her missing sparking a police investigation
  • Her partner Vincent Carlino told Daily Mail Australia he is 'extremely concerned'
  • Mr Carlino said she left in her pyjamas without taking her phone or their van
  • She is described as being of Indian appearance and about 175cm tall
  • It's not suggested Mr Carlino had anything to do with Ms Kumar's disappearance

... last seen leaving a Dural home by foot in pyjamas on Wednesday night. [snip] "On Wednesday night, it was raining. So we are concerned for her, being the weather conditions and the rain that's occurred since Wednesday," [snip] Police are now calling for sightings, dashcam footage or nearby residents with CCTV to assist with the investigation.

Snipped from the headline:

"their tumultuous romance is revealed with a restraining order sought against her"

and more about this in the article:

"Court documents reveal police took out an application for an apprehended violence order on Mr Carlino's behalf two months later on December 15.

It is understood the matter did not proceed in Blacktown Court on the day. The application was formally withdrawn in February."

All the following is only my hopeful conjecture - I wonder if there was some counseling offered after this, and if one of the lessons was to get out if things are spiraling. Hopefully she scoped out a safe place to get to and is there now. I do realize this is improbable, but keeps me hopeful vs what I can imagine happened otherwise.

You realize that what this is saying is that he sought an order against her. I don't know if that's more concerning. Very worried for her.

A body has been found (not yet identified, believed to be Shereen), and a man has been charged with murder.

A body has been discovered and a man charged with murder following in the search for missing 43-year-old Sydney mother Shereen Kumar.

Kumar disappeared from her home at Taylor Road in Dural, north-west Sydney, at 9pm on Wednesday and was reported missing to authorities on Thursday morning.

Police located a body while searching through bushland in Dural overnight. While it has not yet been formally identified, it is believed to be the missing woman.

Yes, I caught that but was hoping if she walked out it was because she simply wasn't going to engage in anything from that point on.

Of course now I so wish she would have exited the toxic relationship back then and she might still be alive (though he still could have done the "if I can't have you, no one can" scenario). I did notice that a lot of the people who knew her - and were privy to more relationship information - were very worried about this being the outcome. So sad, she was so beautiful and sounded like she was an amazing person. RIP Shereen.

I thought the application for AVO might mean he was manipulating the police and depicting her as crazy which might serve him in case she disappeared in unaccountable circumstances.

ITA especially after what's happened! I know it's an unanswerable question, but why oh why did she stay? The articles say that she was a mom, but I haven't seen how many children or ages, etc. Maybe she wanted to keep the family together?

This article says she was found only 4 minutes from home:

I was afraid of this :(

I suppose it's possible that she attacked him, he fought back, and it ended badly.

Shereen being found so soon, there should be a cause of death which may exclude some possibilities. If it was self-defence or he intends to run self-defence he's stuffed up badly with his story.

The father is someone else, not VC.

Tweedy said Kumar’s children were being supported by their father, who had no connection to the alleged crime.
“They are lucky to have a loving father to help them through this terrible time,” Tweedy said.

The devastated family of a model alleged to have been murdered by her boyfriend have remembered her as an 'incredible mother' as they vow to bring her justice.

Ms Kumar's ex-husband Gurpreet Beehan, who is the father of her two kids, told Daily Mail Australia the family are 'heartbroken' and will 'ensure' she gets the justice she deserves.

He said Ms Kumar was a 'strong woman' who was devoted to their children, and her death had created a hole in their lives that would never be filled.

'She was an incredible mother to our kids and she will be missed forever,' Mr Beehan said.

'No one can replace a mother and this [alleged] crime has left us all devastated.'

I’m thinking this could be the case.
