I see a cyclone moves in a clockwise motion. Is that the difference between a huricane and a cyclone? Then what is a typhoon?

PS: Great to see you Rocky!
Hi Solidarity, just noticed you were an Aussie too,..Im hearing much the same news as well, although an interview just done with the police up there reported that there were no confirmed reports of missing people, only the problem of phone lines being down and family in other regions not being able to contact their loved ones around the worst hit areas of the cyclone.solidarity said:From what I've heard there has been a lot of property damage and uprooted trees and several reports of missing people this far. The rescue services have been flooded with calls but it is still too windy for them to venture out and rescue those in need.
