Horrifying footage emerges of teenage boy 'trying to throw his girlfriend in front of a train'

Horrifying footage has emerged of the moment a teenage boy tried to throw his girlfriend in front of a moving train.

The shocking incident was caught on CCTV camera at Elizabeth South station in Adelaide's north in October last year.

Lucas Gary Narkle, 19, dragged his girlfriend, aged 14 at the time, towards the oncoming train as she struggled desperately to avoid being hurled onto the tracks.

He spent 3 months on remand but won't serve any more time. What the hell?

Community Service?! What?!

If she had not been able to fight back....?!

That excuse of a human being right there is capable of murder. Did they rehab him already?!

At least in my opinion this is clearly attempted murder. He can feel free now to try again with the next girl who p**ses him off....

Lucas Narkle, 19. We can be sure his name his name will show up here again. His next victim might not be so lucky.

Agreed. The authorities did not treat this with anything like the seriousness they should have.

I'd be surprised if this is the first time he has been violent to a girlfriend.

I see some possible charges in his future in relation to his relationship with a 14 year old girl if it is something more than platonic.

Speaking as someone that lives in Adelaide, I am not all that surprised. It's so, so sad the number of horrible offences that are dropped or given reduced sentences, when realistically a much harsher penalty should be applied.

That poor girl, thank god she's okay.

Another crime that was so gruesome and horrifying, and one where the offender has been given a slap on the wrist with almost no repercussions for the horror he's inflicted upon the family, the community and most importantly, the victim.

(also please let me know if I shouldn't be sharing this in this thread, I've been lurking, but this is my first time really posting.)

She was 14 in 2017 when it happened, and it seems as if they were still together in 2019, when he was sentenced. As there were nothing about a child in the articles in 2017, the child was most likely born after that, and she was possibly 15 or 16 years old when the child was born.
