Yes, sorry for that. I was looking at the property next to Oak Park. I’ve deleted my post. Sorry for the confusion.
1799 Oak Park Road going from SA government map viewer has that property on the otherside of Oak Park Station. It's what people on here have been calling the junk yard.
Also notice that realestate.com have 1799 listed as sold in 1999.
Lot 6 Oak Park Road on the same mapviewer seems to be in the location of Oak Park Station and Real Estate.com have that listed as sold in 2022.
1799 and lot 6 seem to have the exact same planparcel ID.

Real estate.com says there is only 6 properties on Oak Park Road. 2 other properties have the same ID'S which I believe are both Tiverton Station going by map locations.
I personally am not good at reading that sort of data lol So maybe someone more tech savvy with data and maps could have a look.

No no all good, it has had me a little stumped as well since @totalc posted their screenshot of data from SA mapviewer of the property and it doesn't seem to math out. There would always be sheep, I'm sure. There'd be busy times of year around lambing (making sure the births go OK, dealing with any issues that come up, perhaps getting vet advice or help, maybe helping raise the poddy lambs, castrating some/all of the males, docking tails etc), shearing season (rounding the sheep up and into the correct paddocks, maybe in batches, doing the shearing - or outsourcing more likely, which usually means feeding the shearers unless you also hire a cook - managing feed and water etc) and market time (deciding what sheep are ready, rounding them up, getting them into a truck and either taking them to the slaughter house or hiring a 3rd party). There's always issues of water, rotating stock around to different paddocks for feeding, maybe supplemental feeding, crutching, dipping, fixing of fences, maintaining outbuildings and probably a heap of things I haven't even thought of.
This is a good article, but it's from the UK, so the times of year are reversed.

using a special drone with infrared capabilities.
This is the same technology that was used in Port Lincoln for the remains of Julian Story.
It's quite complex technology,
so the results will take some time to work through."

Not all sheep stations are just sheep stations. Stations around where I live run sheep and grow wheat etc etc. But out Yunta way the land isn't crop growing country. Some other larger station owners within the Yunta region own properties all over Australia so I guess they sustain an income by different farming methods.
Otherwise if your just a sheep farmer out Yunta way you'd have to be pretty rich to help keep afloat as the drought here in Australia is unfortunately wiping out the small time farmers. Below are 3 businesses that had/have property within the Yunta region

It's scary in a way to know the cops are coming back, because if they do find young Gus, he won't be alive, will he? There's just no way.
There's not enough drinking water out there to sustain a life. It is way too dry.

They've been around a lot longer than air bnb.
Many sheep and cattle stations and other types of farms don't only rely on sheep or cattle.

Even if the timeline was longer than a few hours, once a few days have passed, should it be affecting the search area? Shouldn't that be based on how far he could get in several days anyway, once he wasn't found right away? I wonder how wide the original zone was.
I am so glad they are continuing to search beyond the original limits, because doing so has been successful in other cases.
Hopefully someone does have him, so that he has a chance of being found alive. Imo
From what I have read you have to go through 5 or 6 gates to get from the road to the homestead.
Would have to be the world's luckiest and most stupid kidnapper when there could be a trail camera on any of those gates to record the whole thing.
I don't think kidnapping is likely due to the barriers one would face getting a car into the property.
Unless they came on foot and had a car waiting at the road??

6000 hectares.Dear Australian media if you happen to be reading this please all get on par with the correct landsize of the property for Oak Park Station in your articles.
And like, where's the ransom request??
If he was kidnapped it couldn't really be a opportunistic kidnapping because who would randomly be on that property and make a snap decision to take him?
It is very different from the sad case of Daniel Morcombe, for example, where Daniel was alone on the side of a busy road waiting for a bus and an opportunistic predator happened to be passing by in a vehicle.
