Hello, I’m a family friend of Ahmed and I know that he has two names (this is common in Arab and North African culture), but he mostly goes by Ahmed.
Whilst he likes nature and doing outdoor stuff, he is not a big fan of bushwalking or hiking, so it’s so baffling that he is missing in thick bush area.
Also, the Porsche he was driving is brand new and he is really careful about getting his things dirty or scratched. The place his Porsche was found is rural and barely suitable for a car like a Porsche.
Anyway, I want to help find Ahmed. I know the police are on the case currently but I have a feeling they will close it any time soon and write it off as a missing persons case. I don’t want to just accept that as an answer, we need to know what happened.

If anyone wants to ask me any questions about him, I’ll be happy to help. If anyone has theories about what is going on, feel free to comment them. I think we need to keep our options open, and with such uncanny cases such as these, anything is possible.

could it possibly have been an accumulation of bad mental health days? would it sound plausible that someone might have lured him to go there? to me it doesn't seem like he's involved in any business that would result in something like that. do police have his physical phone? if so they can push it to higher ups that are able to analyze activity and information that's circulated in his bubble to trace sentiment the days prior and gauge where he can be as a result.

Hello,
It is definitely a possibility that mental health could have lead up to this, but I also think maybe there was also another health issue that was linked to all this. He was definitely not acting like himself a few weeks before his disappearance and this lead to some concerns amongst family and friends. When asked if he was ok, he said he had a problem but did not want to tell anyone about it. We don't know what was wrong and we feel guilty that maybe if he told us, his disappearance could have been prevented.
It has also occured to us that like you said, someone could have lured him. Whilst I think this is a possibility, we won't know until police are able to get into his phone which apparently they have not yet and are struggling since he owns the latest iphone 16. I don't know if it is weird or normal that police have not yet been able to get into his phone??
Now, Ahmed is a down-to-earth, kind man and all the time we have known him, he's never had any enemies. So I also doubt that there was some dodgy business he was involved in. I think though that we should keep our options open since anything could be possible. I really want police to get into his phone because then we may have more answers, I do not know why it is taking them so long.

Not weird, iPhones are notoriously hard and time-consuming for police to gain access to. They have strong encryption and tight security features that do not make it easy. I hope they're able to gain access soon to bring more answers about what happened to your friend.

I am sure I saw him sitting in his car just staring off into space on the 29th of October at around 12.30 am. I also saw him in the month or so preceding at the casino where he was playing roulette and clearly losing heavily. Have contacted police in regards to the car incident but only later recalld him at the casino.

Only that perhaps his personal life was on a downward spiral. I recall looking at the wager he'd staked on the roullette table and working out that he had very little chance of recouping that amount even if there was a win. Very erratic. He then lost as one of the few only numbers he hadn't covered came up. He strode away for a minute to return even more stridently in a way which I immediately knew meant he'd only been as far away as the nearby cash machine and was coming back angrily prepared to chase his losses, a situation I could identify in him through bitter personal experience. I then left as I was only passing and stopped to watch the action and after seeing the way he acted I knew this story and that the ending would not be good.

Hello Everyone.
I wonder if there is any update for Sayf Ahmed Hamada?
Any signs?
Is there a way to get involved in trying to find him?
I’m a friend that used to train Marshal Arts with him.
Regards,
Rob
Hey Rob - as above, Mods will likely ask you to verify your claim.

Irrespective, no update from me.

I do hope he is OK.
