Schmickthespy, I think you have brought some valuable new info to this thread; Please do not leave the forum.

Thank-you.

Yes that was my point but right now I respectfully bow out of this thread.

sorry schmickthespy please don't leave,

people this is not fair...... why are new posters being discriminated against? make sure you know what you're saying and that you are saying it to the right person please?

At this point I just feel as though I can't post for fear of "frustrating" people for missing a minor point or bringing up something that was said before.... I thought the rules were to not respond if something annoys you? What clogs up the thread is rubbish like this.

Hi Schmickthespy, I'm a recent arrival to this forum too, and the first night i posted someone "snapped" at me and I had the same reaction...i thought "what's the point? I'm outa here!!!

Please hang in here...there are some lovely people with some great minds and senses of humour, but like a bunch of people who have a little too much wine or beer they get enthusiastic and go off track occasionally.

I very much like this paragraph...

More than 20 detectives working from a major incident room within the criminal investigation branch at the Indooroopilly police station, continued the hunt for the person they believe was responsible.

I agree. Sounds promising. I feel like the police know exactly where they are headed. Don't seem to feel the need to rely on media ect. They have the target in range and are moving closer, with all bases covered.

sorry I am not trying to moderate, just trying to be fair to all who come here, like I did, and all of us did

Winks....dont even think on it. In the first thread, I made mention in one of my first posts a comment on how my daughter freaked out when she saw the wedding photo of GBC and ABC. She said along the lines that he is the seed of evil.....bad man. I had someone even belittle my posts....and really belittle her feeling because she was a child with a view (so it seemed). I thought "CRUCK YOU LOVEY"...and kept posting. Dont take things to heart, we all critique each other at times, when we disagree.....Every view is open here....and in the most part, people will lead you in the right direction, if something has been stipulated as fact of otherwise.

Does anyone remember a post early on when a poster came on with info regarding the scratches on GBC, she/he worked at a doctor’s office and remembered GBC coming in to see the doctors BEFORE Allison went missing? (don’t remember the day it was either on Thursday or a few days before) Poster observed scratches on GBC face?

I just remembered this, when I read the recent post about him possibly having scratches at the school on Thursday
I don’t think anyone paid attention to this at the time

Yes Loosemarbles had him come into her workplace Thursday am and he already had scratches on his face then. She was interviewed by police.

Thankyou :tyou:

If this is true, and if it’s true that he was at the pharmacy on Thursday… that makes sense because people tend to visit the pharmacy after a doctor’s appointment to pick up a prescription…

The question is how he got the scratches

Naturally, there are a lot of different personalities posting here......honestly if you feel someone is or has been a bit snappy then don't take it to heart or respond to it, just move forward. We all will agree or disagree at times with others, its not personal.

Thanks Willough. You're right, I'll stick around and just do some more reading for a while though :)

far out willough, when I first saw their wedding pic I thought 3 things...
1. He looks controlling and dominating "look at my beautiful trophy wife"
2. Allison looks like "I really hope I made the right decision
3. the bridesmaid in the background looks like "OMG girl, what have you done?"
MOO

I saw it as well. I think it might have been on the news site where people could leave tributes. I actually thought it was an odd thing to write when I saw it.

I think it's quite the opposite to what Allison's best friend had to say...

I would believe her best friend wayyyyy before I'd believe someone on a news site/forum.

A DAY after burying her best friend, Kerry-Anne Walker has spoken of how Allison Baden-Clay was a model mother, devoted to her children up until her dying moments.
Mrs Walker, who first met Allison at school, said her friend sacrificed her career for her children, who would miss her desperately on Mother’s Day.

``She really did everything to make their lives happy,'' Ms Walker said.

Ms Walker said one of the last times she had coffee with her best friend; there was no sign of trouble.

``She said things were good. She was happy,'' Mrs Walker said.`

`It (her death) was a complete shock to all of us.''

Just jumping in here, apologies if this article has been posted

http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/...e-having-suspect/story-e6freoof-1226361621268

I don't have much to add just some observations. When GBC was speaking to the media (his sister was with him) he sounded just like my son sounds when he's trying to convince me he's REALLY SICK and can't go to school. His sister seemed genuinely upset, he didn't.
(IMO)

Interesting that quite a few of the comments after Allison's obituary don't even mention GBC at all, they offer condolences to her children, her parents, her extended family, but not him.

Anyway, probably stuff that has already been discussed here.

Yep, we did just that last night didn't we. lol. I fear I was misunderstood in what I was trying to express last night. I was going to explain more. But I guess its probably water under the bridge now.

There are all sorts of personalities on here. And I guess its unfortunately a given that at times they may clash. I think its best if we can all try to respect each others opinions and try not to take our frustrations or irritations out on others. (I'm not really speaking in regards specifically to the issues being discussed here, as I have only just logged on and not read all..just giving my 2 cents)

Exactly my hubby's thoughts.....Son (7) Didnt like him....and daughter (11) said oh no mum, please get rid of that picture, he is scary...he is a bad man. I rather latched on to her comment. When I told her what had happened, she said his eyes are scary, almost like he is waiting to do something.....Mature little monkey I have.

At the time, none of them knew what the photo was about...Didnt know the case.

I think one man and one woman from that archived "Meet the Team" page were partners that pulled out just before Xmas and lent $300,000 to the business. Probably a loan that enabled GBC's company to buy them out. Fairly certain NBC/EBC were not the partners that left before Xmas.

Posting a link to an article from 2010 which names one of the Directors (i.e partner) in relation to the business. I think the other one was a lady.

How he got the scratches? Maybe a bit rough with TM the night before? IMO maybe TM was also subjected to some abusive behaviour?
