Not sure if this will post twice as IT issues.
I am new so please forgive me if this has bee discussed before.
1. I cant beleive that a RE agent does not own his own home when thisng were so good there for a while. I beleive they have rented for a number of years.
2. Who do they rent from?
3. Since Allison returned to work as a property manager for C21 this year has she found info hidden previously? Loan statements etc?
4. Did she go guarantor for business interests (independantly wealthy) and decide to divorce from GBC, initiating an arguement? I can't beleive that such a high achiever would be happy renting the family home for so long?
I beleive she had had enough and was leaving him. He would not have been able to stand this (spoilt child syndrome/tantrum ensued). Many of his staff/partners had already left in 2011, but as they say you take it out of the ones you are closest to!
I'm with you,and have mentioned it before, find it totally odd that they were renting, unless they had sold recently, knew the marriage was on its last legs and they were just going through the motions of staying together while things got sorted.
Certainly wouldn't encourage you to get into the property market when the guy trying to encourage you to, has no skin in the game.
For a high flying couple who had been together maybe 16 years, they didn't appear to have a lot to show for it.
Does anyone know how long GBC had owned a Century 21 franchise?
What kind of money would it take to buy one?

wow, he ALREADY had the scratches before Thursday night?? Okaaaay.
Now for something totally unrelated...what if?? What if a certain male had something on mistress??? (by something I mean dodgy info, shady deals done together etc..) could that be enough to convince somebody to help in a 'tricky situation' and would that be enough for a mistress to keep their mouth shut?...just a possible scenario..MOO

Interesting speculation - definitely possible.

I wouldn't unfriend him......I'd want to stay there so I could get all the gossip from his Facebook

Exactly!! haha... that's the most likely reason they haven't booted him yet!

Good evening beautiful folk.

CC...I agree...One would think people would have defriended him. But it seems that affairs are the norm of society these days. Irrespective of that, I cannot view people who have affair, any other way than.....BAD PEOPLE. Everything their relationships are based on is negative......mostly noted is the dishonesty and everything in between.

On a different note, which may have been touched on earlier (sorry I couldnt read it all, or else id never have caught up)....I do feel that just because TM was involved with GBC, that doesnt make her a murderer....But strongly feel that since the affair seems to be part of the investigations, I have no sympathy for her. I am a bit non plus about her feeling distraught. Had this murder not happened, I would not feel so badly......but she involved herself in some heavy ****, as soon as she allowed her first kiss with GBC......and it shows intense naivety for a woman her age (appears around 40) to have entered such a relationship.......I consider GBC just as shocking, dont get me wrong. But any woman who goes on, taking another womans man.....especially when beautiful little rugrats are involved upsets me, .....and her being distraught, makes me laugh and laugh and laugh. MOOOOOOOOO :moo: and BOOOOOHOOOOOO

Just really a big WHAT IF. What if Mrs Baden-Clay was having an affair. In a terrible moment this home-wrecking man may have attacked her and run off, perhaps even taking her sim cards. Distraught, Mr Baden-Clay took her body and being unable to revive her may have hidden her body. OR, think about this, maybe he knows nothing!!

Yep definitely had scratches at school cross country.
Saw him walking around the Brookfield show yesterday by himself like he was trying to prove a point.
Looked awkward and guilty to me, and I think he is in disbelief that he is in this predicament

You should report that to the police if you haven't already.
I am sure others saw him at the event and could back up the info.

maybe the police are using him as bait for the TRUE PURPATRATOR

Pardon me but is this the first time it has been mentioned about GBC having scratches the day of the cross country??? I cannot recall this ever being mentioned. All previous mention of scratches seem to be connected as possible results of the argument or DV on the night Allison was last seen. The cross country was on the Thursday 19th so whatever caused these scratches must have happened before Allison was killed (by GBC or whomever)

Hi Reginald2. I think you said Allison took over the role of BB? Are you able to tell us what BB did? thanks

The Cross Country was on the Thursday so it was BEFORE Allison went missing, Allison also attended the school cross country so she was definitely still alive then, so if he had scratches on him on that Thursday then they are unrelated to Allison's murder.

OR maybe they ARE in fact related to whatever happened to Allison?? Maybe the crap had hit the fan in the days before she died and just escalated from there???

You know what else confuses me? Why in hell did GBC only report Allison missing at 7:30am?? I have kids myself and we are up and about MUCH earlier than this. Could it be that he arranged the Lawyer prior to notifying police?

He mentioned the business has been around 7 years in an interview 6 months ago.
As for a real estate agent not owning a property, there are plenty of them.
Some would say it's a smart time not to own. He also had to take out a loan from someone (his dad?) to finance the business, before they did that it would make sense that they sold their own property(-ies)

Yep, if you read back on all the threads we've discussed these types of possibilities, a few times over. Happy reading! :)

Why would he ( Gerard) hide her body, instead of calling the Police? Why would the other dude just take the sim card?

One never knows...It is possible. I dont think so in my mind. There appears to be too much deceitfulness and attempt of financial gain, to point else where. With that said, I am always open to different ideads though.

Sorry but I just can't see how if that scenario had indeed happened how it is plausible for GBC to not be doing everything in his power to help the police find his wife's killer. Even if he and Allison loathed each other and were only together for the sake of the girls, she is still the mother of his 3 girls and any NORMAL innocent person would do anything and everything in their power to find their mother's killer.

His behaviour speaks loud and clear IMO

Do you mean... what if her 'boyfriend' killed her, but then her husband hid her body? Wondering why the bf would want her simcard?

If GBC stumbled across his wife's body... wouldn't he call the police? Why would he hide it, if he didn't do it? Sorry, that doesn't make alot of sense to me, IMO

minni, you are such a dear, you really make me smile and i have always thought so kindly of you. I think you have actually grown and come out of your shell since being on here - i have noticed it! Thanks for sharing. You are quite brave.

Remembering that we are here to try to make some sense of what happened to Allison, and maybe even provide some help to the case in some small way, I still feel that we are also honouring her memory by being strong women who understand her plight and the pain she experienced, even if we dont know all of the details.

huh...I didnt realise that until you said it...I have started to feel I have a place where I can be myself...it is rare for me..so thankyou to all of you for making me feel I could open up here. I understand this is not about me at all, but feel grateful for Allison who in her passing, seems to have united so many people
