....and to be honest; I would find it rather creepy if he drove around with ALLISON plates considering the circumstances.

I think either is creepy....Allison creepy....but settled, even worse. It's almost like this scenario is now "SETTLED". GASP!!!!!

I would have thought it more useful, that if he has got them changed, that he just went to more simplistic, average number plates. Less noticeable. Also, even though I understand he is still trying to run, what is now a flailing business, that he would in the least get rid of that ghastly sticker.

I think you'll find that Fergie said that a white Prado definitely was parked there.

BBM.

Um..yes. Thats why I said perhaps the prado has been released..hence it being seen. But the Captiva may still be impounded. I said Fergie didn't see the Captiva and ther has been no sightings of it.

I wasn't questioning.

Well he must have changed over the plates. I'm sure he doesn't want to drive a car with ALLISON plates on it does he..I will check with MR on Monday about how easy this process is...

It is very easy if you own both sets of plates. You go to DMT and do it on the spot, but have to pay a fee.

Was just thinking about GBC's choice of words in the Toowong carpark the other day ... "we just want to get that out there".
Who's "we"? Has anyone from the Taringa office stayed with him? He wouldn't need a receptionist as those serviced offices provide that service for all lessees. Did he mean his parents as ongoing "partners" in the business? Just curious ... what does anyone else think or know?
And seriously, what is he DOING in there all day at the moment? I don't think he could be selling houses - is he just managing the rent roll? Following websleuths perhaps? :)

So sorry. I got my Prado's and Captiva's mixed up. :blushing:

Yes I am confused now. I like you heard only a few days after they impounded the cars that they had been released..I believed it was the CM that reported it. SO now they report they are still impounded. Then Indromum(I think it was you :)) state they see the car being driven this morning?? So unless it was just released this morning or overnight..what the?? I thought it may have added up about them still being impounded because GBC had been seen driving the gold suzuki. ANd maybe the earlier report of the cars being released was incorrect. But now I don't know.

Its the same with the sleep over.. They reported it was Thurs night..Then Makara(?) Spoke to the journo and they said they were unclear which night it was (thurs or fri)..still can't get why you would report it as Thurs when you don't know which night. Now in a recent article, it says Friday night was the sleepover.:waitasec:

My understanding from various news reports is that the children were at a sleepover on the Thursday night, possibly with the grandparents as ABC had her hair done and there have been reports that GBC and ABC had dinner at a local restaurant after that. ABC apparently told the hairdressers that she had the conference the next day and the kids had a slumber party which to me sounds like a party with friends and being a Friday night this would make sense, friends birthday party. In my view it was probably both not one or the other.

My other comment would be that there has been a lot of speculation about why the police established the house as a crime scene almost immediately, what did they see or what did they smell? I don't think anyone has expressed the view that the highly trained police and detective that attended the house on Friday morning asked a series of targeted questions and GBC's responses caused them to have strong suspicions of foul prey. I think this is what triggered the police response. When the police knocked on our door on the Saturday morning we asked if her disappearance was suspicious and they confirmed that it was.

Also, even though I understand he is still trying to run, what is now a flailing business, that he would in the least get rid of that ghastly sticker. I find it revolting when people other than (tradesmen) advertise their business on their vehicles (JMO). If one is good at their game, it is uneccesary to have such crap on ones car.

I just realised that the SETTLED plates and more than likely, the Prado would belong to the business and not the BC's (whereas the ALLISON ones would have obviously been personal). Perhaps this is why he is kind of "stuck" with them.

We owned a transport company (PTY LTD), and although we were the owners, it was our company that owned all the assets.

I'd be ditching the plates first chance I got, especially after you pointed out the alternative meaning of "SETTLED" in this situation!! It's REALLY creepy either way :/

Wonder if the office is bugged and the staff are undercover cops?

Hi all, I'm just wondering if this "associate" from NSW who supposedly met GBC at the Gold Coast convention worked for Century 21?? Thoughts on how he is "associated" with her?

Maybe the cleaner who goes into that office, takes a real good look in the rubbish bin at whats in there.......I know, it would take a bit more than a few banana skins or soggy sandwich wrappers, to stop my temptation.....lol

From Kimster's post on first page of every thread...

If a member posts with "expertise" please check to make sure they are on this list. If not, please do not take their post as professional information, but rather just as another opinion ;much as you would with any member of the general posting membership.

PERSONALISED PLATES - I have just checked the website and max number of characters is 6. The word SETTLED has 7, hence one of the characters is redundant. These prestige plates cost $2,395. Is there any other type of plate that would allow the 7 characters? Anybody know?

EDIT: ALLISON plate is also 7 characters...

About 1000 people last week rushed to buy number plates in the ``seven letters for seven days'' promotion run by Personalised Plates Queensland (PPQ), an affiliate of Queensland Transport.

It was the first time seven-letter plates were generally available in Queensland nine years after the first fetched $85,000 at a charity auction.
