Anyway.... As interesting as it is Stockholm syndrome is really not applicable to this case (IMO)

In this picturethe bare skin is supposedly a light colour I take it? Hate to say this but the bare skin would have been a dark blueish/ black. There would have been no contrast of light skin against clothing.
Having said this what is the obsession with SEEING Allison's body. She was found under the bridge after being placed there IMO. For her to have been washed down stream and up a bank seems unlikely as I feel she would have been caught up on debris before reaching and coming to rest under a bridge IMO. I don't have to SEE the body to form an opinion. All these photos are a bit disrespectful I feel. MOOOOOO :please:

The images you are seeing on here have already been seen in more homes around the country thanks to news footage. I'm sorry if you feel they're disrespectful. I can't speak for anyone else, but for me, they are evidence. They show where she was found, approximate position of her body etc. Again, sorry if you are offended.

Can't believe what I'm reading.....why did they /anyone have yo have a 'Syndrome' to have a bad marriage. That would mean that 50% of married couples have . IMO ????????? WTF Nobody knows what went on in their marriage or anyone elses!!

Im chill, still can't see a body

I was trying to reply to your other comment when you first said you couldn't see a body... but my page would not load.

I'm with you, I have trouble seeing what's what. What I thought was a body the first time round was a police officer.

LOL....Is that some kind of illness one gets when obsessed with shopping at IKEA? (giggles)

I must google that.....Stockholm Syndrome.

:floorlaugh:Do you have a link for that? I will never be able to go to IKEA again without thinking of that! Sunday afternoons shuffling around a furniture maze like sheep!

Same here Linette! Now I see nothing that looks like a body. Don't want to see anyway to be honest so that's ok by me

MG, with due respect, I can understand how you feel but your description of Allison's body to some might also appear disrespectful. IMO

I think that there has been a lot of work that has gone into trying to figure out the position under the bridge.

Thank you to all of the people who have used their skills.

the above description of Stockholm Syndrome is extremely inaccurate. it doesnt even touch on the most basic principles of Stockholme Syndrome. IN MY OPINION, your haphazard and wildy off centre comment has begun a series of off topic posts that have nothing to do with Allison. Unless, she was taken hostage?

Point taken and you're right but the obsession with actually SEEING an outline and defining it over and over is a bit off. I saw the footage in the news and papers and wasn't ever expecting to see her or an outline or anything (and was grateful I didn't) If outlining etc. had been done in the media it would have offended many am I am sure.
I just think if that was my loved one I wouldn't want images relating to my remains picked to pieces like this. Don't mean to offend anyone. JMHO

I agree with your feelings on this intense dissecting of the images, but feel that there is no way possible that sleuthers would not examine every single piece of evidence available to them, its a little bit of a paradox for all of us I feel. I do want to ask why you quoted my post in your post as it has nothing to do with this topic?

I can see where you are coming from. I have even alluded to the statements some make in relation to "her spirit being gone", as though that makes it ok to be looking at it.

With that said, although I am not into it, I understand that really, this is a sleuthing forum....and people here are investigating in a non official manner, her death. With that in mind, I find it reasonable that such pictures are posted.

I guess it's one of those each to there own thingabajiggies.....and we all have a choice to be here or not (and no, im not meaning that you shouldnt be here if you dont like it). But we do have a choice as to being here....and as to what we choose to browse over.

All meant respectfully dear mothergoose :)

Guise, I'm sorry, but I think you're seeing things in that photo that aren't there. Nothing is distinguishable. The body looks like a blurred blob, I can't see a thing, and I have very good eyes.

Yes I've often wondered that IF GBC has some serious personality disorder, such as sociopathy or similar, whether Allison would have worked that out eventually, especially considering she had a psych background.

If she had, she would also have known he was never going to change, so it's easy to wonder why would she stay with a man like that. But I guess knowing someone is a bad egg is different to actually leaving them.

I always wonder if she was leaving him though, and whether that's got anything to do with what happened to her.

MOO

Even if all of you laugh at this, there is something called LOVE. When someone falls in love, you are quite blind to many things. Also, people change over time. He could have been charming for half their marriage and then things went down hill slowly. IMO.
