Gold Suzuki thing in the driveway this morning.

would an impounded car be at the Indro police station (out back?)

Safe travels, Hawkins! and thanks for your insight.

That's correct Marlywings...Indromum did indeed speak to Alison Sandy. IMO that's how come this pranged Prado photo came to be published this morning (after QPS approval of course). The CM were previously reporting incorrect info about both cars being still impounded. This is their correction.

I think Indromum needs to make another call to AS! Just joking Indro

Can someone also confirm if BC house was made into a crime scene immediately upon the first officers arriving? If not, those car pics could still have been taken by a CM photograper and released with QPS approval. It's my understanding that the house was made into the crime scene sometime later.

Anyone?

I'll get the links for you but from memory first police to attend, around 7.30am Fri, reported to detectives & the house was immediately classed as a crime scene...after this a crime scene warrant was issued. Photos of both the cars seemed to have been taken late in afternoon or early evening.

Media would not have been allowed in.

...The timber bollard idea is really getting me thinking, now. I have driven a Prado before and I found it quite difficult to see anything below the front bonnet ... So, I could imagine myself bumping into a bollard, especially if I was driving the Prado at night and, therefore, had much less visibility (because, for some strange reason, I decided to drive with only my parking lights on...).

This seems possible i.e. driving with only parkers on and driving into a bollard or some not metallic objects as the paint work is still on the damaged parts. Something softish. I thought I could see two dent shapes in that lower section Could it be two narrow bollards?

Lauramars it may have been Brizziechickusa..That was a heated night and a lot of posts were deleted. Was it the same time that the broken leg was mentioned? It was close to a very last page maybe 3 or 4 threads ago. Not sure though. Wish I could be more helpful.

My mistake. Defiantly the wrong one. But would like Liadan to advise where they got this information from.

my grandchildren go to same school and no suggestions from my family of a broken arm and they have talked a lot about it.

Squizzey do they ever mention the state of the girls (upset and crying and late for school) in the past when they have been dropped off - just curious something else that was mentioned in the a conversation? MOO

A "DEVASTATED'' Gerard Baden-Clay has hired a second lawyer on the same day police confirmed that his wife Allison had been murdered.
CM 2 May 2012

Hi all...can't figure out how to link so have cut and pasted this CM link.

IMHO the CM know heaps. That use of parenthesis around the word 'DEVASTATED' speaks volumes to me! In fact, it was this very use of the inverted commas that set my brain into motion and thus led me to this site. The way it was printed feels very sarcastic IMO. Personally I'd be totally outraged if this was printed in this manner about me - and I was innocent!!!

So...my questions are...

1. Who took the first photos of the two cars in question on that fateful morning?
Was it the police or the CM?

If it was the CM they would most definitely have seen any damage to either car. And if so, they would have been warned off publishing them by QPS.

I reckon - seeing as Indromum has an 'in' with Alison Sandy- that maybe she should phone her! Go on Indromum...I know you're at work bVut slip out to the dunny and give her a bell. If she says...'no comment' then reckon she knows something!!! That's easier than badgering you to break into the lot where the Captiva is impounded!!!! haha

The CM would get away with the inverted commas because it was someone, possibly the lawyer if I recall that they were quoting with the word "devastated". That's the way it also could be taken.

But I do find it interesting the way the CM let it be known what they are thinking without actually saying too much.

did only do some hours for a while but pretty well back at school fulltime now. girls have dropped little things like "mummy would go crook oops mean daddy" and "mummy always comes to reading classes". apparently lots of little slip ups like that. my family say it is heartbreaking but apparently other kids are very good and teaching staff too. not a lot of physical emotions at school from the girls. poor little mites God love em

Does anyone know for sure if the photo of the car in the media is from thE QPS? As I thought the CM might have just taken the photo in the car park of the office tower.

I live close to the BC residence, and a mate of mine was driving past on the night that she went missing and there were cop cars there at 9pm (note, she apparently went missing at 10pm!). My mates sister later told me that when the police door knocked she asked about it and the cops said they were there for a domestic distrubance... and that they were looking for a body (this was about 5 days into her being missing). The domestic distrubance story was mentioned in the first few news stories, but then was taken out - maybe suppressed on request from the police???

Zookyliz - did your friend ever get back to you on the number of police cars at the house?

I thought these might help. Not happy to be in them but at least it gives you proportion. This is if you pull over on the left coming from Brookfield. Whether you want to think the body (sorry) was thrown from the bridge or carried down the slope it is all feasible.:blushing:

Hi everyone
I am back from a self imposed absence. It got a bit too much there for awhile. But have been reading every post.
Indro mum you are a legend and dork whisperer and Possum you are brilliant!!!!!!!
Seeing the car and what may have caused it makes the mind boggle. Itnow makes sense why QPS wanted people to focus on the cars and if they were seen. What if they have one shot of the car at the roundabout without the damage and none of it after, or the other way around.how would GBC explain the damage?

Thanks, I had been wanting to ask the same question, as to how the girls are coping these days. Poor little things. :(

The crime scene tape went up between 8:30 and 10 am Saturday (21st) morning. Wasn't there when I went out at 8:30 but was there when I came back at 10am.
