Hypothetically what could have happened is there was and argument and he put his hands around her throat and went too far either in the bath or not. to cover up he dressed her in walking gear and then called 3rd party/parties to help him . I reckon he dumped at the Scouts and she was washed to the bridge. Too busy road to stop at the bridge and do it there. IMOO

I cannot begin to imagine what this family is going through especially the little girls. There has been so much speculation and very little real proof of what really occurred. Just because someone appears to be guilty it does not necessarily make it so in any way until someone is charged. Just hope it is very soon for her loved ones.

I am thinking of Vincent Tabak the animal who murdered Joanna Yeates in December 2010. His behaviour was completely opposite to GBC in every way. He was out there at all times assisting the police and acting the concerned citizen even to the extent it was on his evidence of manipulating and misleading the police that the landlord of the flats was wrongfully arrested. VT was considered to be quiet and mild-mannered, perfect citizen even by the father (top lawyer) of his girlfriend of 3 years who he was planning to marry.
I keep relating to this case as I was over there at this time and it was emblazoned in all the tabloids constantly. Joanna's parents were wonderful people just like the Dickies and also by sheer coincidence Joanna's birthday was the 19th April the same date Allison disappeared.
On the night Joanna was murdered she had walked home after a work function. Her boyfriend was away for the weekend visiting his parents and VT's girlfriend was at a work Xmas party.
VT and his girlfriend lived in the next door flat to JY and her boyfriend. The couples had not met each other because of separate entrances to these old georgian flats for privacy.

It is unsure how VT gained entry to her flat but in the trial it was found that she was murdered very soon after arriving home. Screams were also heard by several people but it was put down to someone at a party. At his trial he tried to say that she had flirted with him and when he went to kiss her, she started screaming so he strangled her.

The shocking thing is that this animal then carried her back to his flat, put her in his bicycle bag, put her in the back of his car and went late night shopping to provide an alibi with CCTV cameras, he also rung his girlfriend to say he would be there to collect her from the party. All this time Joanna was dead in the back of his car.

He then went to a secluded country road, attempted to throw her body over a concrete wall but must have been disturbed so just left her to be found covered in snow/leaves on Xmas Day 8 days later. Then he just calmly drove to collect his girlfriend and continued his life/work as normal.

The whole time until his arrest he went to work parties, Xmas with his future in laws, a trip back to his family in the Netherlands etc. The whole time pretending to be distressed and so concerned about what had occurred. No one picked him as he appeared to be the perfect quiet person so in love with his girlfriend.

At the trial it was later found that on work trips away he picked up hookers and was into including strangulation videos of young blonde women like Joanna.

Because her body was frozen the autopsy was able to prove that she actually had 43 marks on her body including a broken nose where she had fought to live. He was 6'4'' and she was 5'4''.

Writing this in a hurry so hope it all makes sense but because of the way VT acted I really do not believe one can ever tell what a person really is like.. It was also mentioned the way he dumped Joanna's body was from a person with no human emotion whatsoever. The fact he fooled so many people including the police and his girlfriends lawyer father goes to show you cannot pick animals such as this. So creepy...

There are personality types and styles of behaviour, particularly in the sociopathic and narcissistic range of disorders, which manifest in different ways, including the above. If GBC is the murderer, his ability to do so could also be explained by a combination of the many verified facts along with the sociopathic personality type.

Elspeth, I am just wondering what you think about the fact that police have stated they believe the murderer is close to home, is known to Allison, and is not a random murderer roaming the streets and posing a threat to the community? Also, what do you think about the fact that the B-C vehicles were impounded by police and the Prado was only recently returned? If there was no suspicion why would the vehicles be impounded, or at least returned quickly? IMO. I just wondered if you thought the police were on the wrong track, from what we know so far, or are you just uncertain generally?

As you say, someone can be as involved as can be in searching, pleas to the public via media, co-operating with police etc, and still be guilty. But what we are talking about here is someone who hasn't been doing those things and what that could mean in this particular case, combined with other information.

Elspeth....I think that Vincent Tabak looks different. I know we cant go by ones appearances, but there are traits on his face alone that show abnormality. Other than eye roundness (which he doesnt have, he has opposite, squintness, with long eyes), I feel he looks like his face is classic Downs Syndrome.

Man if I were the cops I'd be putting the pressure on her....i don't care if she was in the military I reckon she will crack with some sustained pressure tville is a small place and people gossip, I'd have a couple of D's popping up across the road from school at hometime, across the road from church on Sunday etc.....some may not approve of this technique but you do what you need to do sometimes to move things along.....

That comment to me, when I heard Det. Ainsworth say that..I thought thats an odd thing to say.. a 'version' of events(in relation to his bump on the head).. I tend to agree with you but if what you state is indeed the case, would I be correct in saying that 80% of discussions here are based on rumor. At the end of the day speculation creates rumor in my opinion. Correct me if I am wrong. Moo :banghead:

Although this is supposed to be a victim friendly forum, some on here have been creating rumours about Allison having an alleged disabling depression for which she allegedly was medicated in the past. It was also alleged that her husband had to come home from work early to tend to the daily care needs of the children, dinner, dishes, etc.
There was no evidence cited to support this. These items are rumour. Allison is not here to defend herself. Who would be most likely to create these rumours? Someone close to the alleged POI? These comments put forward a 'past view' that attempts to paint Allison in a negative light again in my opinion. <modsnip>. IMHO.

Hear, hear! Well said and it's a shame you have had to say it again. I have always thought the depression issue was put out there a bit too rapidly by GBC and OW as if it was a seed being planted to set the scene for the suicide or 'wandering around in a depressed state and having an accident' or the "going missing and never returning or beng found' theory. But that's just MO. Whatever it was - it is not confirmed, so shouldnt be discussed as if it was undeniable fact.

If anyone is interested in a great book about creepy feelings/intuition and keeping yourself safe, I would highly recommend the book The Gift of Fear
by Gavin De Becker.

He goes right into how we unconsciously pick up on signals and how women often dismiss thier gut feelings because we are trained to be polite.

It's a great read and if you have teenage daughters I would also highly recommend giving them a copy to read.
