It could help alot! I would have another question too possibly..but one I'll keep to myself for now(sorry!), but if they gave me the answer and they allowed me I would post. I promise and I'd get verified ,lol, so I could verify it!

sorry for that confusing post!

I shall await the top secret post. lol

I'd ask if she left the house dead or alive.

Lol, sorry. It was cryptic wasn't it. Just something for my own verification... I'll share after Det. Ainsworth agrees to meet with me and answer my questions..wonder what my chances of that is!:D

But definitely what they observed at the house and whether GBC had been assisting or resistant. would be up on my list.

Case Closed list of rumour versus fact illuminates how little we really know about the circumstances of Mrs Baden Clays dissappearence.

If there was one question you could ask the Detective in charge of this case (other than simply do yeh reckon he done it?) in other words one of these rumours you would like him to confirm or dismiss, which one woukld it be?

I would ask: Was there any bath soapy water in her lungs?

good one..cause of death. I think if we all got our one question..we might actually get close to what happened!

I believe the shortest and "most backroad" way between Brookfield & Mt Crosby is via Rafting Ground Road. Going via Kenmore is a longer and "more public" route.

Does anyone know if the Rafting Ground Rd way was closed at the time ?

Hello Jockster & welcome.....if you were to take Rafting Ground Road/ Mt Crosby to Kholo Creek, any idea how long it would take??...& how long would it be via Kenmore ??

Not according to my source. He definitely said the bus stop outside the Village (ie. Kenmore Village Shopping Centre on Moggill Road at the top of Brookfield Road).

Sorry to go back to the roundabout bit again, but now I'm confused as to which roundabout NBC was seen at as stated by SKMA and bikerchick above. I'm not doubting them, just confused! Was he seen at both? Squizzey1 can you tell me which one your source is talking about please?

My partner and I moved to Anstead in 2001 and in more than a decade of regular driving throught that roundabout neither of us have ever noticed the camera.

If I were carting a dead body from Brookfield to Kholo Creek and was ignorant of the roundabout cameras I would travel to Kholo Creek via Rafting Ground Rd (less chance of being stopped in an RBT etc) but with the body out of the car I would return via the roundabout so as not to repeat my original route.

Exactly!! We all get just one question to ask... then we all meet up later... and we have all of our answers. :D Hey, this could work. :)

Petro, can you set this up for us?? :floorlaugh:

I would ask for the date that the perp or perps will be charged:jail: so that we could all have a virtual party here.

....'cause you are just hanging to let off those fireworks...lol.

My question would be," Will you tell me who called the police that first morning ?"
OK I know I'm cheating but seeing that was such a simple question I'd try and ask a second one," were the children at home that Thursday night"

I'm with you on that first question that's for sure kiwi!!! Although I don't think the answer would be too much of a surprise.

846# Marlywings I guess it depends on how long it took you to actually dispose of the body, sticking to the speed limit it would be a round trip of about twenty five minutes in pure driving time.

I would ask if it was true that GBC and NBC were washing the cars at 7:30 am when the police arrived at the premises. If the answer was yes it would tell me the neighbors must have called the police and that GBC and NBC where cleaning up evidence. Why would you clean your car AFTER you call the police and why would you have your father doing it with you at that hour on a weekend morning. If the answer was no I'd be annoyed that I'd asked a question related to a rumor.

As Hawkins said....There will be a trial and conviction(s) eventually.:jail:

We're both talking about the same roundabout. There are three bus stops - one opposite Kenmore Village, one adjacent to Kenmore Village near the Chinese and one next to the KSS pool. Now the one adjacent to Kenmore Village is accessed by buses that are headed towards the city - not towards Anstead or Brookfield.

The bus stop opposite the village next to Rentals West is used by buses headed towards Brookfield and the bus stop near KSS services the buses headed out towards Anstead/Kholo.

The bus stop mentioned adjacent to the Village does not make sense as there are two lanes that access the roundabout and to access the bus stop you need to use the left lane - thus a pick up here would either head towards the city OR turn left to go back into the Village (up the hill near the fire station). Not sure if there is access at that entrance to the Village late at night.

One thing that may be worth mentioning is that heading further towards the city at the next shopping centre is where Allison had her hair done. There may have been earlier footage of her driving to the hairdresser that the police may have interest in.

Thus, my thoughts are that it's the bus stop near the KSS pool that is of interest - Squizzey, do you know which stop it actually was where NBC was sighted?

HOpe that gives you all some information.

Not to my knowledge.
