While all's quiet on the home front, I was just trying to piece together my theory, when all I could think of is how EBC will now have enough to write volumes of her book. She'll publish ,and we'll all be buying it.... she'll make millions...

Also thinking of the girls, and hoping that in the end it will be a good thing for them to know the truth and hopefully carry their mother's strength with them always.

working my theory.. WARNING! it includes many rumours, so if you're not interested, don't read on..
Would NBC have been taking a bus TO Brookfield, to find Allison home alone( She had had a night off!) Argument ensued. He called GBC, who was at TM's. GBC has alibi and TM can just say he got a phone call when they were together and left hastily.. Maybe the bus stop was BEFORE... wish Squiz could say which direction...

and another note...sorry, while i have the chance, thank you all for such a comforting, witty, intelligent, sensitive, and insightful company. I look forward to catching up with you all daily. My friends and family all think I'm nuts. I live local, & would love to come to the cricket game, but am in a weird situation, & don't feel comfortable.. hugs to you all,

and.. sorry minni,I love ya, :) but I think Makara is Coolest Ever!!

Who wouldn't think she was the coolest with that avatar... I think she's hot!:blushing:

Actually the brother in Canada I think has the most integrity so much so that he jetted off back to his home straight after the funeral with nothing much more than whisper that he was around.

I think OW doesn't want to know- she has a life that would become difficult if her brother was engulfed in such a dramatic saga. A husband as a pastor and kids of her own to think of - hopefully she has backbone but I don't think she will question her family's decisions to remain quiet.

Can't imagine being on the outer of such a debacle but if the brother knows nothing and doesn't want to know - then maybe she is adopting this policy as well. The two of them went thru ADFA so they may have more in common than GBC and OW.

Crack why don't you guys better sooner than later!

Hahahaha. Me so crunchy!

Yep it's a safe bet that interview is very incomplete indeed. Thats why it's no use picking apart the little snippets. Like blue bottle said before, she's been interviewed and they omitted parts!

Oi Crunchy Munchy... lol...

It's horrible when they publish something out of context. No matter how inconsequencial or small it may be to the larger public, it easily because a niggling point for yourself because it sounds so so wrong. Frustrating, because the end product (published article) doesn't sound like the way you explained it and some stuff sounds the opposite of what you have said.

Almost like they substitute their own wording and expressions in some parts to how you said it. It can do your head in reading back what you had supposedly said. Similar like when you're a kid and the teacher looks at your drawing and says... no not like that.... and picks up a pencil and changes it... and from that moment you know it's no longer your own work and doesn't belong to you anymore because it's 'tainted' by someone else. So you get the poops big time and give that artwork to the teacher saying.. it's yours now.

By the way, mine wasn't about crimes or anything... it was just about some large murals and wall hangings in public and private buildings in a few cities of which I was one of the creative players. All in another life...

yes, you are, Celery...and only $1.98 a bunch this week at Coles! Not only that though, you are so right about trying to analyse the media reports......

I swear sometimes the Courier Mail is doing a fantastic job when they get their own name right at the top of page one each day, so I dont know why I bother taking what they say with any accuracy at all

Yes, I think that's quite possible. And I also felt she was trying to talk herself into believing these things, and very worried about what really happened. Personally I think OW is the one Police should be working on to try to get to spill what she knows.

I am thinking that at the time of the interview she didnt know what had happened, but suspected GBC or someone in the family knew something, or was involved, and she was hoping it wasn't the case. But after staying in the house for a bit longer I can't see how she could be there and not realise thet things were suspicious. She might have been told, or overheard various conversations.

I sort of had this feeling that OW might be the person in the family with the most integrity, and therefore more likely to crack under pressure and express her concerns or reveal anything she did know. Even if it wasn't much, it might help. What do others think? This is only my speculation, but I'm interested in others views about this.
I think the same as you about the first interview. I think she was hoping the family had nothing to do with it. Not sure what she's thinking now.
Not knowing what type of person she is I can't even begin to imagine if she would give in or not. The rest of her family might make her an outcast for doing it... she could be loyal to the family, even if she is a very nice person, dobbing in her brother/father might be pushing it.
If it was me and I suspected my brother was guilty I'd be trying to convince him to come clean, admit it and saying how it'd be best all round.
If my brother tried to tell me it was an accidental death and he didn't intend for it to happen, then I'd be telling him to speak to the police, because it isn't looking good right now.

What I would NOT do is just sit by and try to forget I knew anything. I'd probably drive myself insane with stress levels of it all... but I always think that lies mostly come out in the end, you get found out and you're even worse off.

I guess, to summarize my post... I haven't got a clue. lol

Precisely why I said the other day....All we can seem to confirm about this case is "Allison Baden-Clay is DEAD".

And her killer is not in prison.

Yep, because we don;t know what the facts are.. I have also at times thought, it could have been something GBC told police that morning- in relation to outside issues (persons) of some kind and that he was worried about that- or that gave police good cause for concern. Something though in the house caused them to declare a crime scene.

I believe the what was seized at the BC seniors home was GBC laptop and hard drives and other items that was his.. AT least thats what was reported. they took them from there as he was staying there since Allison went missing.

I thoought it was reported they searched the home and shed, and seized several bags of evidence> Not sure if it was only GBC's stuff or just the laptop etc.

Seems to me, that Olivia would have known about the Toni stuff, after all, Toni was fired, the thing blew up, Mum and Dad actually work in the office, that affair must have had their acceptance, if not approval. Seems to me, Olivia would have known about that.. And that it didnt stop. I reckon Mum and Dad knew it hadn't stopped, and it seems likely to me that Olivia knew that..

Thats why her thousand yard stare with the little gem of 'Allison was depressed', without adding , well. married to Gerard, my brother, standing right here, would make depression guaranteed, but no.. just that little slag off.

hmmm, I don't buy that, but it's your view.

Would they have feared losing the business they had invested in, should Allison threaten to divorce GBC and take him to the cleaners (which, if this was the motivation, is ironic as it appears the business has gone under anyway)?
