got to get some sleep, I try but Im too upset about many things with this case, I just feel sick that this could happen and that people do things like this, I feel sick at the GBC family actions, I cant use their tag anymore but those on here from the start know exactly where I stand on that.

I am praying I wake up and something has progressed.

I have also been hearing off the realestate grapevine that teh relationship was strained between GBC parents and Allison, but I wouldnt know obviosly if this is truw or not seeing the only people who would know would be them and I doubt they would ever admit that now, but people who know Allison may in time have something to say about this
Well Im awake while you Sleep Brissygirl....ill google updates and let this site know....although...I doubt nothing will be released thru the night....the Journo's have to sleep too....

Hello Everybody - I'm linking up the rules here and ya all need to take a couple of minutes to read them. Here ya go: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=159"]The Rules - Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community[/ame]

WS is not a free for all where you just throw out any old piece of info or gossip. It is expected that your information will be linked to reality by way of main stream media (MSM) or law enforcement (LE) reports.

Speculation and theories are welcome - provided they are based on some fact that has been linked up and is available for all to read/verify.

Name calling, name variations, including calling others "creepies" are NOT allowed. WS does not allow name calling, not even of the perp, POI or suspect.

Also, general reminders of the rules, posted by other posters is okay, but posters may not tell others how to post. That's the mod job. The poster's job would be to ALERT the post and bring it to the mod's attention.

When rebutting the comments of another - attacking a post is allowed, attacking a poster is not. If you can't attack the post without attacking the poster - then DO NOT post. You will be held responsible for your post and the Mods don't argue, so saying "they started it" won't get you anywhere. You will still be on time out. Plain and simple. YOU are RESPONSIBLE for knowing the rules and the posts you make.

If you have questions or concerns, please bring them to the attention of a Moderator.

Thanks,

Salem

The best friend may also be able to tell if her texts were 'not in her language.' My husband would never text the way I do as I'm a bit of a woohoooer when I text and do/make bizarre comments. People would know if I 'wasn't being myself with the texts.'

Also, when I was younger I was in an abusive relationship and my parents could tell this guy was possessive and they tried everything they could to get me to leave the relationship. I was blind, oh no it's ok - I'm fine. Allison's parents may have known and may have said they wish not to talk to his family (I know my parents didn't want to know mine).

I wonder how often Allison's parents saw their grandchildren as he may not have let her see them (another form of abuse).
very very true, my husband could never pull off my SMS language between me and my friends, im the clown and he is the sensible one, maybe thats why GBC ditched the phone, to my knowledge not one reporter has asked" whe was the last time Allison was seen or spoken to by anyoe other than GBC" very odd dont you think seeing reporters are not backwards i coming forwards, they seem remarkably reserved which leads me to thik they have a massive GAG order from way up above, still, the lack of progress is disturbing and it is hard to not get annoyed when so much is beig withheld that some would feel the public could help with by knowing where she was last seen etc, that part does not make sense to em but happy for anyone to shed light on this area and explain why the police would hold that back when on most murders they tell you exactly where the victim was last seen or heard from (not sms) and then appeal for people to come forward.

Hi Salem, this being the first thread I have ever posted on, does this mean that posters who hear something off a local or have talked to someone who has heard second hand off investigators is not to mention it here same as discussions with people who know the people etc, because if this is the case, then half the thread would need to be deleted, I will apologise here and withdraw from the thread/website as I had no idea I was breakig rules and to be honest, there is nothing I could add from newsites or police feeds that everyone would not have access to, I have confused this site from the first 10 pages of thread I read before posting on it as I thought it was for speculationa dn theory based on any info, Maverick has mentioned the police hearing something strange off the children and this has not been i any news link as one example, I have heard things off friends who have worked in the field before.
Apologies to everyone, thought it was a speculation, local info and theory site, did not realise it was for media and police related statements. Will trot off elsewhere. Have agood night

So, the granny pash.

To me, it was a rather forced and prolonged kiss. No tongue. Definitely prolonged by the woman. The man was just trying to lower the garage door and was rather bewildered by the extra attention.

It seemed to be either something to divert the camera's attention away from something or someone else, or a "let's give them something to photograph".

Very odd motives in any case, in extremely poor taste and judgement, and weird!

What is a "granny pash" please? It appears to be some sort of gang slang or something for kissing a granny. Is that right?

Thanks,

Salem

Mod....this is Australian Slang for 'old people kissing/intimate'

Other Australians on this forum know its just normal australian wording not street names....

We can't post a FACT without linking to the mainstream media.

We can SPECULATE based on information in the case. I see there are a lot of new members here! :welcome:

Please take a quick visit to our Etiquette thread and it will answer a lot of questions for y'all!!! :grouphug:

the granny pash was the perps parents tongue kissing in front of the media ( there are heaps of links of them doing it) when their daughter in law had been missing for over a week and was lying dead in ditch

In case your an american moderator, just so you have peace of mind, to my knowledge there are no gangs in australia called the granny pashers, we have bikkies, street gangs and hoons but there are no known senior citizen gangs out pashing grannies or offensive granny style behaviour gangs, hope this helps clear up your concern on this one.

Not sure which perp (person) you need a link to? They are mentioned in the courier mail, Maverick (another poster) may be able to fill you in as he has information from inside regarding the strange thing the children told the police but he only alluded to it and it is a secret he cant tell aparantly on this public forum. I was guilty of the nicknames for some people in the case but I stopped that as soon as i was made aware you cant do that, I am still reading the rules, up to here "please don't drop hints or post on the board that you know something or are privy to inside information but you won't or can't post it" I guess lots of us tonight have broken the rules not realising but I think everyoe has stopped doing this now
If you can't post it, don't.

Salem, do you mean a link to the footage of the granny pash - ie the perp of the granny pash? or a link to info about the murderer?

Just to clarify, no one has been charged with the murder but discussion has been centred around the husband.

The parents of the husband of the murdered woman Allison Baden-Clay engaged in an exaggerated passionate kiss, which appeared to be done for the cameras, on TV news footage about the case. Someone posted a link which showed the footage during heightened discussion about it on the #1 phase of this topic which has now been closed. I think we can still access it but I wouldnt know where to start in finding the page where the link was posted.(but I'm pretty sure the link has been posted more than once).

Salem

Australians abbreviate everything...and other Australians may have not heard of that word before but understand exactly what the other is refering to,....

i.e. Privy = privilage
my daughters favourite is obvi = obvious/obviously
its just part of normal discussion/dialect. (my american husband has known me for over 20 years & still has trouble keeping up with wot Im saying)....and we are both talking the queens English....
btw
Bushland = Woods/wooded area
Pash = loving embrace
heaps = lots of

most common are
Fair dinkum = Are you being honest
Dogs eye = Meat pie
Grub= An unsavoury person with sanitary issues
Fair crack of the whip= Please stop telling me lies
Choof off= Get out of my sight please

Hopefully everythig is all cleared up now and we can all understad each other a tad more, Im off to hit the sack ( that means go to bed)
Night all

  • #318
Pash - in addition to loving embrace, I would also say that it is short for 'passionate kiss' which is how the abbreviation came about.

Well that makes perfect sense to me.

Yes - when asking for links, I was asking for links that would show the husband is a POI (person of interest) or a suspect. Are there any out there?

Maverick provided me with some very good links - thank you very much.

But none of the are saying the husband is suspected. Is there anything in MSM that indicates this?

Thanks guys - we really appreciate your cooperation and are glad you chose Websleuths as the place to follow and discuss this case that appears to be so close to many of you.

actually the police just say "no comment" everytime the reporters ask if the husband is a perp/poi , officially everyone on this thread including me has just guessed it is him because of how he has behaved and because some people on the forum have said that police have told them that they know it is him but waiting to piece it together, I cant remember who said that, and others have said the police were suspect from what the husband told the children but that is just hearsay from a poster, basically there is no official link anywhere to say he is a suspect and he has not been arrested, hope this helps, Maverick will know more I think about this from his posts, going to bed now
