Check out the responses from the public in the courier mail this morning, very curious as to the names of those who have written in. When I last checked there were 31 responses to the article

Hi Kailee,
May I ask who you think the mistress is?
I tried to work it out but couldn't.
I also find it interesting he doesnt have his own wife as a Facebook contact.

Regards
True

There is a photo of a women in suncorp uniform leaving GBC parents house and she is described as a close family friend. It happened very early on before the parents house was raided. So perhaps this is the women? I will see if I can find the link to the picture.

I read this as Allison had a busy Thursday evening ahead of her.....getting her work stuff ready for the conference and packing overnight bags for the kids to stay out Friday night. Maybe, the Police thought it strange that a woman who went for a morning walk on such a busy day hadn't had the opportunity to do all this yet. Eluding to the possibility that she never got the chance on Thursday evening.
Yes interesting, only one poster has suggested that people acknowledge someone else and it has been utterly ignored. Now that the moderators have told us all we can't speculate or talk about people who are not suspects/arrested and that we have to stick to media links or facts ( australian is a lot different , there are only 22 million people and 3 news channels, we all here the same thing at the same time) and seeing the police are not letting out any info, as well as some posters got upset about using any form of humour ( they were the ones who informed the moderators) I really dont have anything to write anymore and I guess I will just wait and see what happens on TV. My fear is that because the police are not letting anything out, the interest will die down and I had hoped for the Dickies and Allison's children that the topic would stay hot so the police stay right on it, once public interest starts to decrease, so do the efforts, look at the poor Morcombes, look at the extent they had to go to get justice, I really dont think the Dickies deserve to go through that at their age ad I don't think the others ( I better not name them as I might get my post deleted again) will do much looking for Allison, I think more people around Australia would agree.

I will come back here once it is all over and thanks to some of the posters that were just as outraged and supportive of freedom of speech.

Dobbing spoils things for everyone at every age, it alwasy has.

Lets just hope we can come back and do the sighs of relief sooner rather than later.

Take care.

It must be very heart warming to the family to read these comments. Comment 34 states that their 2nd prayer (which is finding the person who did it), will be answered today.

I hope this is true!

Strange article in the CourierMail saying that GBC will not say who he thinks the killer is and also the parents saying they were told that she went for a walk and didn't return.
This is also mentioned in the article 'He told detectives his wife hadn't returned from a walk she took at 10pm the night before and reported her missing nine hours later at 7.30am.'

Which is confusing as I thought that in other articles he reported that he went to bed at 10pm and left Allison watching TV.

Also Allison's parents are helping prepare the Baden-Clay home for the return of the children and husband.

"He (Mr Baden-Clay) just said she went for a walk and she didn't return - that's all he said," Mr Dickie said.

But police confirmed today Mr Baden-Clay has maintained he last saw his wife watching television at their home about 10pm that Thursday night.

I guess he must have changed "his story" when he hired the criminal lawyer.

The police must have been very aware of this "discrepancy" from the beginning.

In a SkyNews tv report this morning, it was stated that the post-mortem results won't be known until another week or so. I guess the police will not make any arrests (if any) before then.

Could be a misquote in the press or change in story. When in doubt I trust direct quotes. Allisons parents have stated Gerard told them Allison went for a walk and she didn't return. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/more-news/grief-for-lost-daughter/story-fn7x8me2-1226346396720

They should not return the husband and children to the house. Especially if they don't know who is responsible. The Powell case in the USA is an example of what could happen. Very silly thing to do.

If I was the spouse of a murdered person, even if I had nothing to do with the murder, I would not answer any reporters' questions either. He is under legal advise and is keeping quiet because of it.

Yay! my 1st post :rocker: I've been reading with great interest and busting to post my 2 cents every now and again - finally signed up. woohoo!

A few questions...

What do you think was the 'odd' thing told to the children that morning? I'm thinking perhaps the youngest child was told something along the lines that 'daddy thinks/said mummy's gone to heaven' - probably in a similar sickly soothing kiddy like tone GBC told the reporter 'i'm a little bit hurt but I'm ok'

I'm busting to know what "Shelley" on the QPS facebook page said that was promptly deleted. Anyone catch it? Last time I looked QPS tagged her full name, anyone had the courage to PM her?

On the topic of facebook, I'm fairly sure I've worked out who the mistress is. Seems she's recently become FB friends with a lot of people who work at Suncorp. Recent career change perhaps?

Hanging to know what was found in the back of one of the cars. People have speculated blood. I guess we really wont know until this goes to court.

I notice GBC graduated from USQ. Any ideas when? I studied there from 1997-2000. He's a good 10 years older than me though, so I doubt I would have had any interactions with him. God I hope not!

Seems the tide at the possible time of dumping at the bridge was at it's highest point of 2.3m. (I personally think she was dumped at the bridge, but will accept that perhaps she was dumped further upstream near the scout camp/Bunya Rd and had washed down. Thankfully the body didn't make it into the bullshark territory/bris river). The photos of when the body was retrieved was at Kholo creeks lowest point of tide - about 1m, hence the muddy banks. I don't think the mud is from flood height, it looks fairly permanent and caused by tidal variations. There wasn't much moon on the Thursday night so it's possible he did a u-turn at Bunya Rd (correct me if I have sense of direction wrong, I'm not a local but have had a look at google maps and know the pipes are on one particular side of the bridge) and thrown her body into what he thought was deep enough water.. Not sure if this is the same bridge, but it shows quite a wide expanse of water under the bridge http://www.panoramio.com/photo_expl...hoto_id=10796265&order=date_desc&user=1827401

Anyone know if BoM take Kholo Creek water height readings? I remember reading somewhere there was approx 100mm of in the first few days.

Anyway, I hope u can make sense of my brain dump. as u can most probably tell I've been busting to contribute. :seeya:

With regard to the posting on the QPS website, I also read it, and this person was advised directly by QPS to contact Crimestoppers with the information she had (it appeared to be in relation to seeing something on the roundabout), however I don't think it's fair for anybody to try and get in direct contact with that person.

True, but it's not clear if the police are telling the media that or the media have asked GBC and he was not telling them who he thinks killed Allison. You are right about him not telling the media anything, I can understand that.

And I know I'm speculating about what an obtuse article is trying to say, which is probably pointless.

The picture of the supposed mistress is I believe a red herring she would have kept get sunglasses on? The identify of the mistress I suppose the police what to keep out of the public eye because if this was a crime of passion they may well be trying to implicate each other hence the quick hiring of qc?

As mentioned earlier he'll hath no fury as a woman scorned

Read the response number 34. Would be fantastic if the police make an arrest today.

If there was an affair (and it appears that this is the case) I doubt the "mistress" would go to the family's house! She would want to be invisible now and forever.
