I'm getting the feeling the female:male ratio in here is at least 3:1

*passing chocolates & pouring wine*

Haha! I'm a girl - and I'm trying to work out who the girls and boys are and getting it horribly wrong!

I thought Greg was a boy - until I thought he/she said he/she was going to burn bra! The comedy double act I referred to a few threads back - I think are boys - but maybe not! And I'm guessing if you have a beautiful woman as an avatar - you're a girl... but then again... who knows!

wine and choccies sound good...

Poor Neuromancer......We have really put her or him on the spot now.

We love you no matter which way you bat.

LOL!

Female, for what it's worth. :)

Guess I've been trying to keep my posts informative, clinical and analytical, which are sometimes considered more masculine traits for some reason. You guys just don't hear the stuff I say out loud, or that gets deleted before posting. :)

Could of sworn I just drove passed GBC in Hillcrest driving white Prado. Any guesses on his registration. I am on stake out mode.

His registration is SETTLE. I saw this in one photo or film clip some time back. It is a play on settling a property as in Sale of a property.

Well we love you too! And very glad you're back. I hope I'm not one of the frustrating ones, but guess I can live with it if I am :sigh:
NEVER!!!!! *squishy hug*

a few pages back someone suggested that the reason GBC may be spending so much time at work is that he is in fact wrapping up the business

they could be right - my friend's neighbour had her house listed for sale with C21 and a sales rep went to see them today and told them they couldn't sell the house anymore!

I wonder why the journos aren't onto this? I've been following their tweets and there has been almost nothing posted since Friday?

Always worth looking into when established patterns of behavior change.

All the photos I saw (the ones I saw and at the moment I cant open the links posted here due to slow internet) were when Allison was being put in the hearse and possibly being driven away. The middle daughter at one stage was kneeling on the floor, clearly upset...and GBC looked distraught too.....I feel she was closing herself off.....and without seing the face, I dont think we can make a true assumption, as to it necessarily being defiance, or closing off due to sadness. Her mommy was being taken away, poor lil chooky....too sad :(

You know the saying, ' Gutted ' ? It's a raw term, but think it might be almost literal in the case of the little girls

Simply, at that age especially, your mother is part of you. You are part of her. She's the big centre pole who holds up your tent of life at those ages. When you're hurt, she makes it better. When you're scared, she makes you feel safe and protected. When you wake up, it's not a real day if mum isn't there. She makes you feel proud of your accomplishments, even if no-one else rates them. She's always your friend. If you're lonely, you wait for her to come home or pick you up or give you a smile. When you're sick, you need her nearby and no-one else can make you feel as good as mum can

There are no divisions between you and mum at that age. She's with you all the time, whether or not she's physically there. She's so much a part of you, you don't even think about or question that. She's inside your chest, your heart, your thoughts

To me, Allison's girls were trying to literally hold themselves together with the crossed-arms and arms held in front of their bodies. Half of them - mum - had been ripped out. It must have felt to them as if their chests were open with the wind rushing in. The poor little girl on the ground in front of the casket in the hearse with her hands dangling helplessly showed total devastation at the loss of her mother who'd given her strength, wholeness and love

Hi EVERYONE :greetings:
I'm NEW here, so please forgive me if I mention anything previously discussed. :couch:

I just can't help wondering whether any or many of you are familiar with LACI PETERSON's case in California. :dunno:

Her husband, Scott Peterson murdered her whilst she was 8-9mths pregnant with their FIRST son, Connor :anguish:, in their kitchen on Christmas Eve (or maybe late on the 23rd), before wrapping her body up in a tarpaulin & taking it some distance away to a Bay where he had a small fishing boat. He then took her out some distance in the bay, before dumping her & their unborn baby.

Their baby was found washed up on a nearby beach first, & then some days later, Laci's hugely mutilated & decomposed body. The 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 had chopped off 1 or both of her legs + other body parts. Absolutely DREADFUL.

You can Google LACI PETERSON & also Scott Peterson, who is obviously in prison. He actually resembles a younger GBC.

There's also a picture of their home up for sale somewhere, & it not only looks much like the BC home, but guess what, the FOR SALE sign is a 21C Estate Agency one!

BTW ~ He was having an affair & decided to get Laci out of the way!

Justice always prevails eventually ~ so let's pray that it does, sooner, rather than later in dearest Allison's case.

Love & LIGHT to one and ALL,
~Durban ~ South Africa~

There's also these AAP photos - the watermark is obvious on the reel but if you double click on pics it is removed.

I find the stance (crossed arms - defensive) and look of the middle daughter at her father's hands curious. #just saying

I thought maybe that GBC has been clinging onto the girls as the only people around him that are innocent and have pure goodness. No doubt he loves the girls and is being supportive, but if one of the daughters got the feeling he was actually being too clingy and needy towards them, she might have started to get sick of it, and really wanted no part of it. I also think that in a family dynamic each girl will be different and have their own personality style, and react differently to things. There's often one who is more outspoken, who won't have any time for people telling them things that they don't think are right, and who are maybe a bit headstrong. Whereas some children internalise feelings of anger, or frustration or whatever.

PS The headstrong ones can go either way, either have problems as they grow up, or grow up to be someone who changes the world positively in a big way. Sorry, i digress ...

I thought the SETTLE plates were on the Captiva?? His company is called Settle Westside, which is obviously how the wording of plate came about.

Welcome back. Yes your post are very informative and analytical, even though I wouldn't go as far as clinical. We all have feelings and sometimes it is good to get those into the threads!

This is what I mean! If the COD is strangulation then I hope i don't have to hear anyone say "it wasn't intentional" again. However we don't know yet.

God, I am so sick of the waiting! I know the police are doing an amazing job i have absolute faith in them, and they are making sure of everything for absolutely the best of reasons, but this is getting so hard. I'm a wreck! But I shouldnt complain, at least I am alive.

I'm with you on this - how can choking the life out of anyone be 'unintentional?'
It is a deliberate sustained action over minutes - not an instant.
( generalising - not talking about this case)

First post here but I have been following the thread with great interest.

To me the defining moment was the first (and only I think) time GBC spoke to the press.

As soon as he opened his mouth the first thing he said was:
"I'm just trying to lookk after my children at the moment"
NOT "I'm looking for my wife", pleading for her to return etc.
As soon as he said that, I knew that HE knew she wasn't coming back.
Then he went on with ME,ME,ME blah blah "but I'm ok" who cares this should be the least of your worries your wife is MISSING.
He also looked sideways when mentioning her which seemed shameful or deceptive to me.

I wish he had spoken more but he lawyered up (which is probably a wise move considering how much he gave up in this speech!)

Anyway just my humble opinion.

Ms Fawn

Great post!!

When women say things like you said in this post, their comments are often dismissed as fanciful female intuition. People often refer to womens' intuition as if is just emotional guesswork.

There is plenty of research that shows that women on average, are much better than men at reading human nonverbal communication.

Most women have probably had the experience of saying to their male partner at a social event: "there's something (sexual) going on between those 2". The male partner usually replies with something like "what makes you think that?" because he sees no such signe. Later, when your observations have been proven, your male partner cannot remember your original observation!!

Fawn, I thinks that your observations of GBC could probably be easily quantified, but unfortunately would not stand up in court. Keep up the high quality obs.

Maybe we should take turns. I have been there every half hour. Maybe I will give it a rest for tonight, this waiting game is too hard!

I don't know this Ipswich councillor, but his comments are too farfetched!!
Five?? ... Seriously doubt it. You don't need five to perpetrate this murder. Maybe 2, stretching it to 3. The less people know, the safer they are (the perps). I think Ipswich Guy is an attention seeker.

It may have only been 1 person who did the murder. Then 1 who helped with the disposal, or possibly 2 if giving advice to help with that counts. Then the rest just knew about it and didnt say anything or help the police in the right direction.

I cant imagine you would be....I get frustrated at times (at various people), but you know i'm only ever frustrated with them for a minute or so....or during one post...........then I read the same persons next post and agree with that next point anyways....It's not usually a good idea to feel frustrated at one person for too long....It aint good for the good ole health. :fence:

I had a heated exchange at some point last week and posts were deleted by mods regarding it... Someone got quite nasty with me and I got nasty in defence.....But I can't even remember who it was with and moved on very quickly after a bit of a break....My point is that I think everyone has added something worth while at some point. I also think everyone has added something pointless....... And I think everyone has appreciated the humour that has added some light heartedness to such a tragic senseless death.

I can certainly say that I have created images of the older posters (thread 1 & 2) in my head and imagined what they must look like. LMAO...And some nights I get dissapointed when certain members are not logged on.....It certainly has been quite addictive but not only because of the Mystery of the case but because I can't wait to hear or see what some of you have come up with in the day!

Thanks guy's for being so entertaining, thought provoking, ,controversial, Brave at pushing boundaries of the rules, Outspoken and so damn clever at times......:woohoo:

they could be right - my friend's neighbour had her house listed for sale with C21 and a sales rep went to see them today and told them they couldn't sell the house anymore!

That's interesting as a side issue. I thought that they had removed the 'Meet the Team' web page to de-personalise the business for sale. Then I noticed listings were dwindling and only two salespeople were handling sales. Now I think perhaps his former associates who lent the $300,000 may want to take the rent roll and move it to another franchise in lieu of the debt. C21 Westside will disappear.

If the reps are saying they can't handle listings then the agency is definitely closing.

It throws no light on the murder case. Dismantling the business may have been a financial imperative anyway.
