iPhone tracking application

If so its a fair bet that he knew of, and possibly installed, the "Find my iPhone" App on Allison's iPhone for the pure reason of security in the event of its accidental loss or theft.

If the App was on Allison's iPhone and not mentioned during the search process, eyebrows would be raised.

On a more sinister note: such a location-tracking tool could be exploited by a possessive, mistrustful partner. If this were the case, the discovery of this by Allison would be a major catalyst for confrontation. Allison could have thrown or hidden the phone herself - switched on/off, she wouldn't have cared.

All of the above is purely speculative.
GLOBEARTICHOKE: It would be valuable if you rang Crime Stoppers with your info re iphone apps, acccount holders etc.

Local observation is that the police Task Force that was based at Indooroopilly police station has been re-deployed to other duties and it is fairly quiet there now.

Hmmm Interesting ...... Allows all the huff and puff of the opening of the new Queensland State Parliment to get the ‘clear air’ full media coverage Campbell and his team would want ....... and then ........

‘Whomper !’ .....

Friday afternoon the plod make their move .........

Saturation coverage in the weekend press ...... that seems to fit ..... or am I just being too cynical ?

People hace written it in this forum a few times :)

Think I know. On forums it means BLACK BOLD MINE... meaning the poster has altered the original text respectfully and are stating which is their own text.

Edit: just saw the above post, so it means similar.

Unsure...but would one not engage a solicitor then barrister if they believed themselves to be the victim/s of wrongful defamation also...

Yes but on the very first day? Noone had even had a chance to defame him yet!

I don't think we should say he engaged a lawyer on the first day if he didn't, to be fair.

Am sure QPS knows this (and more) already. They have teams of IT forensic experts on hand.

With his business going down the gurgler before the case even started, I dont know how he could prove he was defamed. Ladies in here (mums from the girls school) stipulating that he flirted with them overtly, to the point of them feeling uncomfortable and that many of those ladies husbands, viewed him as a tool. Although hurtful to him, I doubt, we could have defamed him anymore, than he already defamed himself.

hi fuskier, i mean sad from a broken heart, from years of possible dv and verbal abuse, from being made to feel small and insignificant, from fear and from having to constantly portray a happy outgoing, positive can do everything persona to her parents and friends, at the same time trying to give her little girls a happy normal family life, all the time feeling incredible sadness for what her marriage has become and possibly wanting to escape and start again, but not having the finances or maybe the strength to do so.
Thanks for clarifying. Much appreciated.

If we continue with speculation and what locals say, the wife may have been having an affair hence she had moved on. Therefore, why would an alleged mistress be interested in harming her? The info we have does not point to the alleged mistress.

Most of what is written in this forum is speculation. I'm not relying on what locals say. I'm trying to see what happens if you stray from the goat track that says GBC is the murderer.
The info we have is very little and doesn't really point to anyone. TM has been paid a lot of attention by the police and the media and so probably has some information police were interested in.
A motive for the alleged mistress could as easily be formulated as a motive for a husband.

I believe that there are some further significant details about this death emerging. It seems to be a particularly nasty and confronting matter. Not the sort of case that would be pleasant for jurors.

The very first reference I can find is April 27th, about him hiring a lawyer. Does anyone have better info?

I guess if you could have elaborated, you would have. But can you elaborate, anyway? :)

As far as I understand it, we don't know if TM is the alleged mistress or if the woman interviewed extensively is another woman ex-colleague or the alleged mistress or TM. In my view QPS is only pointing to one person (male), with the possibility of an accomplice (male/female). IMO.

I think GBC hit the pylonbecause he was too busy on his phone to concentrate.

He did spend a lot of time on his phone in the first week!

Lets surmise my previous speculation about the scout huts is correct, and ABC arrived there, perhaps by tracking GBC's phone via that nifty app, and was sneakily taking photos when she was spotted. Those photos, showing location and 'extra curricular activities' would absolutely ruin GBC.

I don't think there is a 'hut' on that land? It's a camping ground and used for laser skirmish and other similar activities. If a married guy has an unmarried mistress, they're probably going to be doing the business in private at her home. An iPhone has a pretty poor camera and an even worse flash. There's no way anyone with an iPhone would have legible compromising photos of a couple being 'intimate' at night unless the photographer was involved in the action themselves (and despite the threesome speculation earlier, that's pretty unlikely to be the case, IMO).

Not sure how photos proving an affair he has allegedly admitted to and undergone couple counselling for, would potentially 'ruin' him? I think his lack of understanding of the property sales industry and some poor business decision-making may have already played a major part in ruining him, along with the side effects this seems to have had on his personal life.

Sorry, not trying to be argumentative, but I think the theory of Allison stalking GBC is a bit outlandish - she was already well above him in intellect and human decency from most reports, I think she would have cut him adrift before wanting to follow his exploits personally. JMO.

Having said that, someone claiming to be close to the couple alleged (in an earlier thread) GBC was acting 'suspiciously' (raised in the context of maybe continuing the affair which was meant to be over). I still can't see her following him with the view to photograph the action.

I guess that may mean the forensics are back....We just arent gonna hear about them. If it was about the forensics, doesn't sound very pretty at all. Either that, or not much was found, therefore making it hard for the jurors...

Awwww Hawkins, you are so cryptic......Not fair!!!!

That's not what I want to hear.

Depending on who is ulitmately charged and the brief of evidence, I wouldn't discount a guilty plea. That coupled with a skillful mitigation plea would take a few years off the potential sentence.

We don't know who the alleged mistress is but we do know TM was the lady colleague interviewed.

It is understood a former colleague of Mr Baden-Clay's also hired a lawyer after being interviewed by police three times. The woman, a fellow real estate agent, worked closely with Mr Baden-Clay at his Century 21 office and the pair were listed as the joint selling agents on various properties.

The woman's professional profile said she "wouldn't have worked for just anyone" and that she brought to the business "empathy, understanding, a talent for solving problems and above all, a true love of property".

LOL. Hawkins is 'the man'. Don't want to give him too much bro-love though, that gets weird accusations flying, and we don't need more weirdness. :truce:

Laughing......No, no, we have to take any little bit of information he has for us....Hawkins is definitely "the man".

Maybe if I flashed this, it may help.

Nahhhhh....Just teasing.
